E-bikes provide an affordable, high-efficiency, zero-emission mode of transport that also promotes physical well-being and health. Our e-bikes come with a feature of five-level pedal assist power, allowing you to cover vast distances with as much or as little exertion as you wish.
Our e-bikes come equipped with optional thumb throttles that provide an additional boost, activating the motor regardless of whether you are pedalling, offering fully electric propulsion if the need arises for immediate acceleration or an uphill boost.
Our chosen bike model is an excellent pick with notable features such as a low-step setup for straightforward mounting and dismounting, ultralight, chic and gender-neutral hydro-formed aluminium alloy frame that caters to heights ranging from 4’11” to 6’6”. It houses a battery that supports rides up to 100km in range (variable based on pedal assist level, rider’s weight and terrain) and possesses sufficient power to navigate the hilly terrains of the Okanagan.

Highly recommend Lakeside Eco Sports for ebike rentals - Our corporate group had a fantastic time with these high quality ebikes. They made for a ride that was as easy or strenuous as you wanted. The preplanned route to and from Meadow Vista Honey Winery was very well laid out, safe and scenic. Our honey wine tasting with their partner Meadow Vista Winery was a very cool experience as well. All in all well worth the time and money!

Great Day! - Great Day! The AP they supplied was perfect! The bikes were awesome! Jonathan explained everything clearly and Gareth was so good at booking time and accommodating all our needs. The weather was not good and we still had a great family day. We will definitely do this again and would recommend Lakeside Eco all day long.

Great bikes, lovely service, amazing day out - We rented ebikes for a self-guided tour from downtown up to the Myra Canyon Trail. The bikes themselves were great, we did about 60km including 1km of elevation gain without too much hard work and plenty of battery left. We hadn’t used them before but got a thorough induction and were away with no problems. We also tried out their new Bluetooth intercoms which were really helpful for communicating on the road. Gareth was super helpful and spent a long time chatting with us about the bikes and routes — clearly really dedicated to offering a great experience. A great day out despite the cold wet weather up the trail!

Best E-bike rental in Kelowna - The staff were super helpful with mapping out a custom route me to visit Kalamalka Lake from Kelowna. The bike was really good and easy to ride. An excellent experience which I highly recommend!

The best way to discover Kelowna wine country - Lakeside Eco-Sport is a highly professional outfit which provided an exceptional eBike rental experience during our stay in Kelowna. The bikes are very sophisticated, but the thorough briefing given by Jonathan helped us understand every dial, screen, and gadget. The bikes are very well-equipped and Gareth (owner) has thought of every convenience, including heavy-duty pannier bags (with foam dividers to protect the wine bottles you will inevitably purchase with increasing zeal as the day goes on!), titanium locks, phone chargers and holders, helmuts, and a proprietary app to guide your route. In my opinion, there is no better way to discover Kelowna wine country than Lakeside Eco-sport bike rentals.

Myra Canyon to Penticton - KVR trail ride - Had such a wonderful experience with Lakeside Eco-Sports E-Bike rentals. Easy to use and ride bikes, lots of get up and go, great people to deal with. Can't say enough about Gareth and Lakeside Eco-Sports.
Made the trip from Myra Canyon to Penticton and using three bikes had the chance to test different use options. One bike used very little pedal assist and mostly just throttle while the other two used mostly pedal assist. Could have made the return trip on all bikes if had the time.
Will be back again for sure.

The Scenic Route - We had a great experience on the bikes and were able to see more of Kelowna this way. We did the Knox Mountain/Paul’s Tomb trail and it was very scenic. You have a bag on the bike that could fit a sweater, water etc and there is even a charger for your phone. The app was easy to use and very helpful.
