This park is renowned globally for its vast numbers of African elephants, often sighted in groups exceeding 100 members. Especially noteworthy are the massive tusks of the park’s adult male elephants, some of the most impressive in the world. The park also hosts bountiful numbers of buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, impalas, and warthogs. With such diverse herbivore species, it’s no surprise that Amboseli is also a haven for predatory animals. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and serval cats are among the carnivores that inhabit the ecosystem, making it a hot spot for wildlife enthusiasts.
