- Tsavo East - Depart from your hotel, apartment, or the port in Mombasa and travel to Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa-Nairobi Trans-African Highway.
Arrive around 8:30 am and begin a game drive starting at the Bachuma Gate.
Explore various sections of the park, particularly the loop side, which is swampy and attracts many animals.
Visit the pipeline area, where numerous elephants gather due to the abundance of water holes for mud bathing.
Here, you have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many elephants. If you’re lucky, you might also spot big cats, such as lions, either hunting or feasting on a kill.
Enjoy lunch at Sentrim Tsavo before departing for Mombasa, arriving around 6 pm in the evening.
