- Arctic Bar - Sample a drink specialty or beer at one of Ketchikan’s oldest bars. Hear about the Arctic’s history and other crazy stories of destruction in the area. Get to know the mascot with some great photos. Enjoy the view from the only bar with a deck dockside in town.
- Sourdough Cocktail Bar - AKA The Shipwreck Bar. This is another one of the towns oldest bars and a favorite with the local fishermen.We’ll sample their house specialty or a brew and peruse the amazing wall of shame of shipwrecked boats. You will also see amazingly large trophy fish and crab mounted on the walls.
- Creek Street - Historic Red Light District along the beautiful Ketchikan Creek - a great place for photos and watching the salmon swim up stream to spawn. Along the way there, you will hear stories of the colorful past of Ketchikan, see historic buildings and get to stretch your legs along the fairly flat sidewalks through town.
- Dolly’s House Museum - An example of the types of businesses that used to line the boardwalk street in the earlier years.
- Potlatch Bar - Another historic bar at the top of the Fishing Fleets’ docks is a favorite Fishermen’s hangout. Again, you will sample the “Latch’s” specialty drink or enjoy a cold beer while wrapping up the tour with just a few more laughs and crazy stories from your tour guide, locals or the bartender.

Terrific Terry - Terry of Terry’s Tours is a magnificent person. Conversation flowed easily between us. Good thing because I was a solo traveler and nervous as heck. He could have easily canceled as I was the only person that booked his tour that morning. The one on one attention was a bonus.

Amazing tour - Terry was a fantastic guide, shared so many stories and experiences felt like we got to know the real Alaska, he recommended and we tried many top ales, amazing unknown locations, would highly recommend and we will definitely be getting in touch with Terry when we return.

Great experience and very knowledgeable - Terry and Judy were so much fun. 90 min is not long enough with these 2 individuals. We would love to spend a day with them showing us around. We only had a certain amount of time in port and we used every bit of it with them. So so much fun. Hope to do it again some day.

Terry's Tour and their 'Cruizin' and Boozin' - Historic Bar Tour' of Ketchikan should be rated an 11!! - We meet Terry and Judy at the port and they took us to 3 of Ketchikan's oldest bars (The Arctic Bar, The Sourdough Bar and The Potlatch) while along the way sharing, showing and telling us stories of Ketchikan's origins and history. At each stop we got to enjoy a tasty alcoholic beverage and each one may have been more delicious than the last.
Terry and Judy and clearly two individuals who love what they do, and it shows in their enthusiasm, fun nature and the knowledge and appreciation that they have for their city.
It was a remarkable walking tour that could be handled by most able bodied adults. It was supposed to be only 90 minutes, but we cleared just over 2 hours, and their company and story telling was all worth it.

Don't Think- Just Go!! - This was by far one of the best "tours" we have ever been on. I am using quotation marks because never once did we feel like a tourist. Terry & Judy are like old friends who happen to be in town & know all the best spots :) d using gooNot only were the beers and bars the best, we got a fantastic walk around Ketchikan that I would have never found using Google Maps. Thank you, Terry & Judy!

Fun facts and Beer all in one! - We had a blast! Terry is fun to talk to and he knows the history as well. We made stops at 3 fun historic bars, shared lots of fun stories, and enjoyed ourselves during this tour!
