Beautiful Experience in Ketchikan - We arrived on the Majestic Princess and made our way down to the meeting point. Our beautiful tour guide Hannah was there waiting for us. There was only our group of three ladies on the tour with Hannah so we quickly became acquainted and began our immersive experience! This tour was a prime example of differentiating a cruise tour from the intimate tours run by locals. It is important to support local families while visiting these cruise ports. In return you will have a more meaningful experience as well as understanding of the port you are visiting. Hannah really touched us with her passion for nature and wildlife. While Hannah drove us to our stops, she really educated us about the people and wildlife of Ketchikan. We learned about the history of the totem poles, the indigenous people and clans, the art of weaving and carving. We saw Eagles leave the nest and bring back fish to feed the eaglets. We saw a bear and we watched for salmon making their way up the salmon ladder. We ate wild salmonberries and always found a way to turn the conversation back on Hannah to learn more about her. I would definitely recommend this tour, it was not too long, we learned and saw so many things that we will take with us forever. Thank you Hannah - The only negative thing I can think of is we forgot to take a picture with Hannah

Beautiful Sights and Experience - Our group had a wonderful time on our tour. The tour was informative as well as entertaining. We had the opportunity to see wildlife and learn more about the native culture from a local Tlingit and Haida guide. Would definitely book a tour again with this company.

Wonderful Tour! - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Ketchican! They were very accommodating, friendly, and informative. The highlight of our tour was seeing a bear steal a salmon from an eagle! Loved hearing about the family history and learned a lot about the native culture.

Informative tour with wildlife viewing - Rebecca was a wonderful tour guide. We enjoyed her insight into Tlingit culture and traditions. During our stop at the cove, we were lucky enough to see two bears and some young eaglets.

Great for cruisers - The trip was great!! We saw bears!! And we learned a lot about the local culture in AK. Becca was a great tour guide! She was very flexible because we were late with the shuttle situation on NCL. We made it back in time to tour the city and get back on the cruise.

Overall a good tour - Overall a good tour, recommend if you don't have small children. Pros: Randy was very knowledgable. Shared a lot about his culture and folk stories. Good luck with your post graduate studies! They are the only local family owned tour company. -- I saw some reviews mentioning this and I wanted to support local business so I booked this one. The eagle and waterfall stops are a nice touch. Cons: Comparing to other tour options (kids younger than 6 were free), they charge ~$70 for kids 4+, which is not a good deal. My biggest disappointment is that at the Herring Cove, the viewing point is at the back of the bank, which makes it quite difficult to see the bears. The front viewing boardwalk is owned by another company. We were there for a good amount of time, but can only see the tip of the bear's ears between trees and over the bushes. After we were all back in the car, Randy drove by a bridge (<5 minutes walk) where he did slow down a bit so we could see the bear from the front. I wish he mentioned the bridge when we were there and we could have walked there to have a better view of the bear! Not a big deal, but "Bottled Water and Granola Bar" were not included as advertised in What's Included.

Our tour driver was very... - Our tour driver was very informative but the waterfall was probably the best stop. Did see a bear from a distance and as far as whale spotting it was just a pullover on side of road.
