We’re always attentive as this is Alaska, but we can’t guarantee which wildlife we’ll encounter.

Bald eagles, waterfall, totem poles and more! - This was a private tour put together for our group. Great day with Alberta from Ketchikan Alaskan Tours. We were a family of 11 from ages 6 to 67 and this tour was enjoyed by everyone. Alberta was very informative and we enjoyed all the history and stories she provided. Watching the bald eagles swoop down onto the beach was a highlight.

Great multi-generation tour, comfortable, clean, friendly and fun - We were a family of 10 ranging from 4 to 74. We had a lovely excursion with Caroline. She was a great communicator, prompt, and drove the cleanest, most comfortable bus/van of our trip. They included a booster seat for the youngest one and had bottled water for everyone onboard. Our favorite stop was a beach at low tide where we watched locals catch, clean, and feed the scraps of fresh caught salmon to the many eagles perched nearby. We stopped at water falls, picked salmon berries, learned about totem poles, and really enjoyed being together in a lovely place.

Highest praises and a hearty recommendation. - We were seamlessly picked up and escorted to a beautifully clean and spacious van with crystal clear windows. From the moment we met our delightful guide, we felt special. Sharon offered many options to customize our experience and please all nine of us -- from a youngster, teens, parents and grandmother. I have traveled to more than forty countries and can report this tour as one of my highest rated. Our guide is a native who shares insights and experiences of her native culture. As a former schoolteacher, her willingness to answer questions in a clear and understandable way was especially appreciated, especially by a hard of hearing member of our party. The explanations regarding the history and symbolism of the totem poles increased our enjoyment dramatically. We had the opportunity to visit a spectacular waterfall and a peaceful area where wildlife is abundant. This tour is an incredible value.

A great Excursion! - I thought that with our large group of 8 that a private tour would be nice instead of being on a large bus tour with cruise passengers. This was perfect for us. Our tour guides, Lloyd and Sharon, met us right at the dock of our ship. They showed us the town outside of downtown and shared many local facts. Went to Totem Bight National Park and shared many personal stories as Sharon is Tlingit and Haida descendant. Very interesting!! They took us to a small park where we saw a momma bear and her cubs! I would highly recommend this private tour.

A really fantastic tour - This was a really fantastic tour. One of the best we’ve taken. Our guide Sid, was extremely knowledgeable about local history and culture, and really provided an entertaining, educational and fun tour. We really got to see so much of the town, and everyone had such a great time on the tour. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Nice day in Ketchikan - Our guide, Sharon, was accommodating and flexible. We were pleased with this tour company. She provided recommendations of places to eat. She was knowledgeable of the Totems and their meaning. She stopped at an impressive gift shop that had a few antique cars and a gunnery museum. We took a short walk through an old forest in the park to the totems near the shore. Would recommend.

Ketchikan with Ease - Jody was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She was open to our requests and made our visit to Ketchikan easy and enjoyable. From her pre-tour instructions of where to meet and anticipating our needs, i.e. binoculars for wildlife sightings, our day was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Must Do! - This was one of our favorite things we did during our Alaskan cruise. Caroline was an excellent tour guide, so knowledgeable and accommodating. Doing this tour really maximized our short time in Ketchikan. Highly recommend!
