The ultimate way to see Ketchikan! - We were a group of 7 consisting of all ages from 70s+, 50s, 40s, and under 10 and could not be more pleased with our tour. From the moment the tour was booked, Ketchikan Expeditions answered all my questions promptly and detailed. I had a phone number to call with any questions. When our ship docked at shore, I received a text confirming our pickup time and exact location (which was also provided previously). The tour bus was definitely comfortable and luxurious equipped with all captain's seats. Clark, our tour guide, was simply amazing! Such a breadth of knowledge of Ketchikan and Alaska in general and tailored our tour to the things we want to see and experience. Definitely the way to go for a small group and the cost is very competitive to the excursions the cruise line offers and it's a private tour with your own guide!!! Best tour and guide - Was an awesome morning! Clark was so knowledgeable and nice. Will use them again. Very nice vans also. Made Ketchikan the best port on our trip.

Outstanding tour and guide - The tour was fantastic, and Clark was outstanding as a tour guide. It happened that my wife and I were the only people on the tour. There was plenty of water for us, and I'm not sure as to what another reviewer might have had. Clark took us to just about everything there was to see in Ketchikan, and north and south of town as well. He was very knowledgeable about the sites, and told us interesting stories. I highly recommend this company, and especially Clark.

Hidden gems of Ketchikan. - Chris was so kind. He was professional and made our group feel so special. We had a little trouble finding him but I do not blame him. He had a sign and called us! So helpful! He showed us so many places and had so many facts! He had water for us and the van was so comfortable and roomy. I learned so much and had a blast.

Ketchikan personal tour. - Clarke made the expedition awesome with his personal touch and knowledge of Ketchikan. He had an awesome, friendly personality, and is definitely a people person. Highly recommend this excursion, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Clarke.

Perfect Day! - I communicated by email with the team. We wanted to see bears, eagles, totem poles, the salmon ladder and salmon in the streams. I wanted to hunt for sea glass if there was a good beach for that. We also had a crepes place picked out for lunch. Chris was waiting for us steps away from the ship with a new tall van. Perfect for our small group of 3. It could have fit more people easily but was great for mobility issues. Off we went. He helped the ladies in and out of the van, watched as they came to curbs, ect. Chris was a wonderful conversationalist, telling us exactly what we would do and redo if we missed something. He had tons of stories to tell. We saw a mama and three cubs hunting salmon. Oh my gosh, what a thrill. We checked the salmon ladder out and a small stream in a park, while Chris explained the life cycle. I hunted for sea glass, while Chris kept others entertained and walked with them on the beach. Took us to the totem pole place and had a lot of history to share. He accommodated a change in plans when one wanted to go back to the ship and others wanted to shop. Perfect day!
