Great excursion! Emily was fantastic! - I wish I could upload videos for my review! They speak more than these two pictures. I highly suggest everyone to get on this excursion if it’s still available to book!

Incredible!!! - Probably the best tour I’ve ever taken in Ketchikan. This is my third time being here so this would be my third excursion, and this was by far the best so awesome being able to drive your own boat with your people and having the tour guide in front of you talking on walkie-talkies. Got to see so much wildlife miss the whales but we’re very early in the season. all the people that are affiliated with this company just make you feel so at home. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and warm. Fabulous tour for the young and old.

A must do! - We decided to do something really fun at one of ports on our trip and boy did we pick the right place and the right people. They pick you up at the port and transport you to the excursion. The road to get there is a true Alaskan road so go ahead and take a Dramamine before you leave the ship if you get car sick. The bus driver talks about the local area like a small tour - he was so friendly. Everything is provided - even tall boots and waterproof pants and jackets - if it’s raining. Helmets are a requirement - duh - They teach you some simple hand signals so you know when to slow down and when to stop. Theres a guide in the back just in case you get too far behind or have issues. You get a great little meal at the end - that is also included. Honestly it was probably some of the best chili I’ve had - they said it’s from a shop in town. But that’s enough of a general review. Here’s a real personal review. We had a small group. The 3 in my group and 2 people from another country - who I am positive got more than they bargained for with us Americans (Floridians) - only 5 total so we had a little more leeway than they usually do. It rained the whole day and it 100% made the trip so much more fun. Chris led the trip and KC followed to make sure everything went as it should. We splashed through giant puddles the entire time. The boots and water gear was so necessary - as were the windshields and windshield wipers lol - we stopped at a look out point and got some fools gold and a gorgeous view. We headed on and crossed a bridge with a picture perfect stream? And saw some super cool carved rocks that marked a tribes fishing area - we headed in to the turn around point and saw a deer and SO many waterfalls up above. Then we decided to go see the lake - it was a quick walk from the path. Turns out it was a little more flooded than the day before and we had to cross a few streams. My aunt decided she didn’t want to go because she didn’t want her shoes to get wet but Chris offered to give her a piggy back ride. Yall. They were SO CLOSE but the wet sand shifted and they went down - Chris face first into the water for a what seemed to be a brief time for me but probably felt like forever for him. Both of them were soaking wet. Everyone else dying laughing. And he couldve crawled under the earth from embarrassment. But this is nothing new to us - this kind of thing happens all the time when we go somewhere - we either take a field trip (get lost) or make a fool of ourselves. After we finally convinced him it was not a big deal. We headed back to the site. We drove straight there - splashing through all the puddles, watching the views fly by, and genuinely having a blast. Got the best reindeer dog and chili and defrosted for a bit before getting back on the shuttle to go back to port. The driver - different than before - took us along a road with the most gorgeous views. He stopped on a bridge and out over the water on a fallen tree was a gorgeous Bald Eagle. We got to take a few pictures and then we were off. I would absolutely recommend this experience. And I’d tell you that you were making the biggest mistake ever if you chose not go because it was raining.

Experiences of a lifetime - Chris H. was great. Incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. Views were breathtaking and many photo ops. We got lucky and had a clear and sunny day in Ketchikan. Bonus for a September outing. I highly recommend.

Stunning views, seals, eagles and fun! - Chris was an excellent guide! He looks like Mark Ruffalo the actor! Drove the zodiak boats, saw seals and eagles! The scenery was breathtaking! Tried caribou and craft beer. The blueberry beer was delish! This was my favorite excursion in Alaska! Go Bills!

Way more fun than I thought - Was there early Sept 23, was the best thing we did during our Alaska cruise, it’s like when is the next time you’re going to rip around in your own Zodiak in Alaska, wish we could of stayed out there all day. Super scenic and Emily was a great guide, she had a great attitude and an endearing personality.

Wilderness Zodiac Quest was great - We went on the Zodiac quest with our family. Ages 60-27 five members. We had our own Zodiac. My son drove. We were led by Morgan, our guide. She was very knowledgeable, and funny. We got to see a large group of Harbor Seals on a beach. They kind of looked us over, then went back to basking. Morgan pointed out an Eagle's nest, The Eagle residents were out fishing. We felt very safe and had a great time.

The best tour ever - The experience was amazing. Our tour guide Emily was friendly helpful and very knowledgeable. We were the only couple on the tour and we were treated wonderfully. Many companies would have cancelled a tour with only 2 participants but they gave us a tour that was the highlight of our 12 days in Alaska. Their location is part of an old salmon canning factory. It was fascinating to see this as well as the flora and fauna that Emily described on our short walk between the van and the dock. Please recommend this tour to everyone going to Ketchikan.
