- Kyzyl Kala - The Kyzyl-Kala fortress is situated in Ancient Khorezm (modern Karakalpakstan), near the ancient town of Toprak-Kala. Some sources suggest that Kyzyl-Kala was part of the Toprak-Kala fortified system, providing additional defenses.
