A taste of Khmer culture - Awesome experience for any tourist looking to do something different and taste local flavors! The staff and tour guide were excellent hosts and made me as a solo traveler feel very welcomed and comfortable. The tour of the local market was quite interesting. The cooking portion was very good for someone who hasn’t done a lot of cooking since they help prep some steps for you. The food was AMAZING! Thank you for the experience and recipes. I am very excited to share what I’ve learned to cook here in Cambodia with my friends and family back home. Mahalo for your hospitality!

Learn how to make quick and easy Khmer dishes - It was a really enjoyable morning! Everything ran smoothly and the food was very quick and easy to make and also tasted delicious. The pick up by tuktuk was prompt, the market tour was interesting and Sorya was an amazing guide. The apprentice who assisted us with our cooking was very good too and am sure she'll be teaching lots of other people soon too! I would highly recommend the class to anyone interested in cooking and Khmer cuisine :)

Great food, lovely experience - After an eye opening experience at the market, Sorya took us to the kitchen to make some tasty dinner courses - mango salad, fish amok, vegetable curry, banana in coconut milk to name a few! She was a great teacher and communicator and made sure we had a good time!

Cooking with the locals - A great morning with the cooking school team - starting with a trip around the local produce market being introduced to an array of familiar and unfamiliar ingredients and being able to see the daily life of the locals. We loved being able to select from a menu what we would like to cook (and then eat). Lots of laughter and we learnt so much about the cooking and the way of life. Thank you to the wonderful team. We would absolutely recommend you make a visit while in Siem Reap

Great fresh delicious food - We loved this cooking lesson. We went to the market, then saw what they had growing in the market and then we had the choice to cook our own food from a selection of dishes. It was really well organised and we cooked masses of food that was so delicious! We booked an afternoon class and we were the only 3 in the class so it felt like a private lesson.

Amazing experience - Amazing cooking school. Sorya was so welcoming and friendly. This is a wonderful family run business and a must if you are in Cambodia. You are picked up and dropped off at your hotel. When you arrive you are greeted by the team. You can choose a starter, main, vegetable dish and pudding to make. We choose green mango salad, chicken in cashew nut, fish Amok, pineapple fried rice and banana pudding. It was so much fun to make them and your guided all the way. You then can sit and enjoy what you have created. We then had a tour of the local market. Which was really interesting and you have the choice to buy some local treats. The maximum group size is 6 so it’s very personal and Sorya was happy to answer any questions we had. You also get sent the recipes so you can re create the dishes at home. This is great value for money for everything that’s included. It was such a lovely experience. Thank you so much. Lauren and Will

Amazing and Unique Experience - This was a wonderful experience with delicious food! Transportation to the class was timely and efficient. My guides for both the market and the class were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and well spoken. The multi-course meal was fun to make and delicious, and what I really appreciated was that there were multiple options you could choose from for each dish (something that I find isn’t common for cooking classes). Overall, this was a great experience from a very kind family-owned business, and I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Siem Reap!

Fab "private lesson" for 3 - We had a great time with this cooking lesson. We were lucky that as it was an afternoon course, no one else booked and we were just the 3 of us. And had 2 teachers, plus the lonely lady that took us to the marketc and showed us all the products, and then the plants in the garden they use for cooking. Each one of us could prepare the dishes we choose form the menu and all of them were amazing and tasted amazingly well. At times it felt a bit rushed but it was a good lesson, well organised and the food tasted great.
