Our usual pickup point right across from the Cathedral in Killarney. We often meet people here as there is free parking in the Cathedral carpark, the entrance to the park is just across the road from the cathedral.

Wonderful Family Activity - We took a horse carriage ride around the National Park. Our driver was Damian McCarthy, a descendant of the clan that defended Ross Castle inside the Park.
While the Park itself was lovely, the best part of the tour was Damian. He was so kind to my children. He was full of great information about the Park and its history. He told great stories and was very funny. Our horse, Molly, was also a joy.

A Highlight of our Trip - We had an amazing time in this tour! We were embarrassingly late due to traffic, GPS confusion and parking issues, but our guide Damien was so patient with us and held off the start as long as he could. Once we got going he put us at ease immediately and was so disarming, funny and informative. The park itself was incredibly beautiful and full of wildlife… we even saw a stag!
Our horse Molly seemed happy and well loved!
