This incredible experience is perfect for those who struggle to rise early or wish to avoid the crowd atop Mount Batur. Opting for sunset can also be a fantastic alternative to sunrise.
Schedule:

12.00 - 13.30 : Depending on your Bali accommodations, this is the pick up time. We will drive you directly from your hotel to a partnered restaurant for lunch, followed by a drive to the starting point at Toya Bungkah.

3.45 pm : Upon arrival, our professional and experienced hiking guide (affiliated with the Association of Mount Batur Trekking Guides) will provide an introduction and safety procedure briefing.

4.00 pm : Our guide will accompany you on a ninety-minute hike to reach the peak or summit. Here you’ll see the sunset and explore the crater.

5.45 pm : Water, bread, and eggs will be provided by our guide, as you witness a majestic sunset, weather permitting.

6.15 pm : From the summit, we proceed directly to the car park.

8.00 am : Expected arrival at the base.

9.00 pm - 10.30 pm : Estimated return to the hotel, dependent on the hotel’s location.

Amazing hike up active volcano - Amazing experience, Putu our driver was fantastic and our guide up the mountain was great too. Amazing views up the mountain despite being too cloudy at sunset to see this. We were the only ones up there too which made for a really special experience. Highly recommend!

Sunset on Mt Batur - Fantastic sunset tour up Mt Batur with Putu Anton, our driver, and Gede, our tour guide. Putu picked us up bang on time, ordered our fabulous lunch at the restaurant then off to meet Gede for the ascend. Spectacular views and beautifully boiled eggs. It is cold at the top so take a jumper to keep you warm while you wait for the sun to rise or set. A trip to remember!

Great Staff - Just finished our tour. We had a fantastic time. Putu was a wonderful driver and gave us extra tidbits of information throughout our trip. Made was our climbing guide. He was phenomenal with my 68 year old mother who could only make it part of the way up. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience - Well that was great. Special thanks to Gede Edi our driver and Wayan Budiawan the guide. They were both great. I chose the sunset hike as timing was good, pichup 12.30pm (instead of 1.30am for sunrise). Also very few on the mountain at this time. Lunch was good at a restaurant with fantastic views. Hike was challenging so some fitness is required. Going down in the dark so tough but uiu are given a headlamp. Wayan is a great help and a great photographer, he took so many awesome photos for me. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Trekking in Mount Batur - Driver Wayan Seleb was very kind, caring for my wellbeing, punctual, organised in getting me to the activities planned out for me by the tour agency. My trekking guide Wayan Budiawan was very knowledgeable about everything we encountered when trekking, cheerful to make this hike doable, helpful along the difficult spots uphill and downhill. He was like a friend whom I could get along well with.

Fantastic! Definitely recommend, but for those with some fitness only! - Was a great experience with my guide for the day Gede Arya.
The coffee plantation was great, the lunch fantastic and the hike was certainly challenging! While there was too much cloud to see the sunset still some amazing views on the way up and from the top the other direction!

Satisfied client :) - Very good tour from mount batur sunrise trekking! I asked their help for my proposal and they were very accommodating. Our tour guide, Wyan, helped us capture the moment and really attended to our needs. Our driver Arya, was also very good and helped keep all of my proposal plans as a surprise.
Overall, very good experience and highly recommended. If you can, ask for Wyan for your tour guide cause he is really good.
