Amazing and super interesting experience! - The tour was amazing! It was just two of us and the guide and we learned so much about the ruins. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable! It started raining during the tour and they brought us Panchos so we wouldn’t get wet! We definitely recommend it.

Knossos Palace - This 1.5 hour tour was one of the most interesting we have ever done. Our guide Katerina who is an archeologist and excavator absolutely knows her history of Knossos and Greek history in general. She shared the information comprehensively and delivered it an entertaining manner. Her enthusiasm for Knossos was infectious. The tour exceeded our expectation and has left us with a greater appreciation of Knossos and the Minoan civilisation. Thank you Katerina.

Outstanding tour - Our tour guide was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very thoughtful. She had a great knowledge of the site, and made it very interesting.

Knossos Palace Guided Walking Tour and Heraklion Town walking Tour - For History lovers this is a must. Here are some tips if you go on this trip. 1. Take water and keep hydrated. When you enter the palace there are no toilets inside or anywhere to buy drinks. There are toilets before you enter the palace, keep some change, 50c, to use the facilities. There is a shop and restaurant to buy liquids or food before you enter. 2. Our tour did not include the entry fee into the Palace. If you are under 25 years or over 65 years take ID and you can get discounted entry rates. You can purchase a dual ticket for Knossos Palace and the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, this will cost 20 euroes pp. If you are in the above age groups it will be cheaper to buy individual tickets. 3. This is not an easy walk. The tour is about 90 minutes long and bearing in mind the type of visit at times the ground is very uneen and I would suggets not disability friendly. 4. Make sure you are well covered, hat, suncream etc as this is almost totally outdoors and on a hot sunny day you could easily burn. 5. I would reccomend visiting Knossos Palace first if you are also considering a vist to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. It natuarlly follows on and I found this really enjoyable. We booked this through Viator and found the arrangements to meet really easy and well organised. The tour guide will provide each person with an audio system and headphone for the tour. Stay in reasonable distance of your tour guide or the commentary could drop out. Our trip also included a walking tour of Heraklion Town with the same guide. We loved Heraklion Town, the beautiful buildings, the shops, reatsuarants and cafes. We were given 3 hours free time but as we were staying so close we enjoyed the rest of the day taking in the wonderful ambience of this vibrant town. Well worth a visit.

A great tour the Knossos! - We enjoyed the small group setting and as a result were able to be more flexible as the crowds ebbed and flowed throughout the site. Our guide, Arkivi, was very knowledgeable and provided expert commentary throughout the day. A very enjoyable tour!

Well Worth It - This tour was well worth it. My husband and I learned so much from our guide, Katarina. She was truly a wealth of knowledge and a great storyteller.

A Story of Ancient History in the Hills - Guide efficient and positive, with a good explanation for what happened, while also weaving the events of the past and tour into a comprehensive story explaining the Minotaur and history/mythology of the site.

Very knowledgeable and a must - Our tour guide Akrivi was fantastic. She gave just the right amount of information without overwhelming us all. We had 8 on our tour. At the start you get a device with an earphone to save her shouting like many other groups were doing. It is a quieter season now but by the time I left it was still getting busy. So go for the 9am tour if you can. Number 2 bus is great for getting there and back too. And cheap. I got my ticket before and it cost me €1.10. A must before or after is the Archaeological Museum as it will all make sense after doing both.

Knowledgable & Accommodating Tour! - We enjoyed our tour with Akrivi! We were lucky to have no one else on the tour with us, so we ended up getting our own private tour! Akrivi was full of knowledge and shared with us everything about the Minoan labyrinth. She was accommodating in taking our photos and even sharing photos with us of when she went into a part of the ruins that are no longer accessible. We're happy we went with taking a tour with WeGuide as I'm not sure we would have enjoyed the ruins as much going by ourselves. Thank you, Akrivi!

Pricey - Although the Information and guide was good this tour is very expensive for 1 hr 30 minutes. It could have at least included the price of the entry fee. We took an all day 8 hr tour and food included for almost same price!
