The Palace of Knossos - The Minoan Palace at Knossos is arguably the most instructive Neolithic and Bronze-Age site in the Aegean/ Eastern Mediterranean (7000-1000 BC). The reconstructed remains give you a chance to experience the labyrinthine architecture of the Minoans as no other site can, and provide a wonderful backdrop to many vignettes to help appreciate the Minoan culture. What went on in a Palace? Were their ladies the mainstay of their society? What sort of health did they enjoy? How did they organize the production of their sort-after textiles? What names were their oxen called?
A myriad aspects ‘97 great and small ‘97 can be thus explored: enough to satisfy anyone’s curiosity. And yet .. we still cannot answer: what made them click?

Avoid the ticket queue for entry into Knossos Palace and enjoy a guided tour with a licensed professional. Traverse the historic palace and marvel at the House of the Frescoes with its vibrant murals. Gain insight into the heritage of the Minoan Civilization.
Utilize the combined ticket for a cost-effective way to access the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion on a later trip to Heraklion city. The ticket is supplied to you at Knossos palace from your check-in operator and remains valid for 3 days.
Convene with our check-in operator near the entrance of the archaeological site, adjacent to the ‘Little Garden’ restaurant by the ticket booth. Your guide will be identifiable by a sign emblazoned with the “WeGuide.gr – Meeting Point” logo. Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the start of the activity.

Knossos with a 9 year old! - Katarina was absolutely brilliant as our guide! She pitched it at such an interesting level for us to learn more about the history of Knossos! It was enhanced by her well prepared visual aids and passion for the area. Katarina is incredibly knowledgeable and a lovely person to spend time with! Thank you for an enjoyable visit!

An unforgettable and incredible tour with Katarina! - Since I had booked during the off-season, I was the sole person on a tour with Katarina, who was very engaging, knowledgeable and very passionate about Knossos. She could answer everything, as well as provide her own insights and ideas.
Since Katarina is an archeologist and site excavator herself, she possesses vast knowledge about the palace, and of the Minoans. A true tomb raider!

Ask for Akrivi for your Knossos tour. - Akrivi was so wonderful. She had so much information to give us. So much more than expected. The time went by so quickly and the tour was very long. If we had a question, she knew the answers immediately. Her knowledge was more than just about the area but also about the history of the rounding countries and their people.

History to legends - Fantastic tour guide! Was very knowledgeable, often asked if we had any questions, and was personable. Loved hearing about how the actual history has inspired the myths we hear about today and where they came from. Recommend booking a tour earlier in the morning because the site gets very busy very quickly! Plenty of time for photo ops and appreciate getting skip the line tickets to avoid the long wait times for entry. Thank you and would definitely recommend this tour!

Lovely guide - Great tour. Met our guide outside who had our tickets ready. She was really knowledgably about the site and answered all questions. She also knew where all the shade was so we could cool down!

Not worth it - Waiting in line inside Kronos Castle when Zi paid for no lines. Once you entered the castle we had to wait in line for 30 minutes until we blew it off and left.
