Phi Phi Island Tour - We went to Phi Phi island trip in a 4 engine power catamaran which took us around 2300 baht inclusive of all national park fees. The catamaran was amazing. We took a seat in the upper deck and the view was terrific. Juices / waters were provided frequently and lunch was amazing.

Awesome, great company - Great day with a great team, a very clean and almost new boat, the little snack, the little touches make this very touristy outing a great day. Fafa is a great guide, and the rest of the team is great

Amazing experience, great company - Very pleased, we took two tours with them and both were really great! A very professional company, very well organised, high quality services. The boats were super nice and very clean! They offered us lots of snacks, cold refreshments and a delicious lunch! The tour guides and the entire staff were lovely, very knowledgable, friendly and reliable! We enjoyed it very much! Would highly recommend!

Fun adventure, enthusiastic guide - My partner and I were staying in Phuket, and our hotel booked Sawanu for us as an adventure to explore Phi Phi Island and its neighbors. Overall, it was a really great experience -- lots of beautiful sights to see, all managed by a fun and hardworking crew. The boat held about 50 people, and was led by our tour guide Bella who was fun, informative, and made sure (amazingly) to learn all the tourists' names. A great way to see the islands and pack a lot into a single day.

Amazing Tour and operator - Top Class! - We did this tour on Christmas Day 2023 and overall it was a fantastic experience that I would recommend 100%!!! Very professional tour operator, experienced staff and we felt safe at all times. The full day tour includes pick up/return taxi from hotel, life jackets provided, on board snacks, water and juice, snorkelling equipment, a hot catered lunch which was delicious. The staff were amazing, well informed and kept a tight schedule. The water was a bit choppy the day we travelled however the boat was of a very high standard and was comfortable even over big waves. The points of interest were stunning if busy with other tour boats. The waters were super clear so snorkelling was incredible and an absolute must! The lunch provided by Banyam Villa was amazing and they catered for all allergies etc. The tour was family friendly and smaller child size life jackets were available for kids. There were toilet facilities at the stops we made at Maya Bay and later on at Bamboo Island as well as Banyam Villa. If you visit Phuket, do not miss this trip as it really is amazing and one to remember!

Beautiful, warm, and friendly crew! - We had a wonderful time at Phi Phi islands. Our tour guide Bobby was so kind along with the boat crew. We had cold water throughout the whole tour and a yummy lunch! Phi Phi island was a bit too crowded which took away from the experience. But Sawanu went above and beyond taking care of us and giving us the best possible experience of our life! Thank you so much for the fun, Bobby!

Not my idea of a boat trip… - So firstly, I should say that everything was well organised (too well organised, no relaxation!), the staff were lovely , the boat was fine. However….! When on a boat trip, I like to move about the boat, and see the boat time as part of the trip. This is not the case here - this has bus style seating on the boat , and the sides are too high to see anything. Meaning when you are sailing to each island you can’t see anything…and if you are unlucky enough to be in the middle seats (2-4-2 formation) , you can’t even stand up to see. Not my idea of a relaxed trip. The islands were all very busy, the lunch was just about okay, like a school canteen and extremely busy (no seating when we got there) . To summarise, we enjoyed our day - but this is not really the luxury trip we were sold. Too many people on the boat . You can get a better experience for the money.

Yaya is not good guide at Sawanu travels - Guide name Yaya is not good to customer. I am still in the boat and He is not polite to customer. He is saying that he will throw away us. What is this we have paid good amount for premium services not for the disrespect.

Mass tourism at its ugliest - The most terrible trip we ever made, don't be seduced by beautiful photos or (like us) previous experiences. We paid almost €350 for two adults and two children and we were not told what we could or should expect. In the harbor at the meeting point there were perhaps 500 people at the same time, the very limited breakfast buffet was completely overrun. The explanation was done in Chinese beforehand and on the boat, we are from Europe and our Mandarin does not extend that far. There were 63 of us on a speedboat, but we were part of a larger group with 3 other similar boats. It has nothing to do with a boat trip, you have to stay in your seat and you can't see anything from the boat. It's more like a subway trip. The first mini-island was completely flooded, it was teeming with people and there were 50 boats on the beach, there was no room for snorkeling. On to Monkey Bay, with 15 boats at the same time stopped at a mini beach with two sad monkeys. On to Phi Phi, half an hour in line with dozens of people queuing and fighting for a table to eat the very poor lunch that has already become cold. No time to swim but no place to swim either. On to the lagoon, with 50 boats at anchor, floating a bit in dirty water without fish. On to the snorkeling spot, with hundreds of people at the same time and of course a number of people who stood on the already very damaged coral. To our misfortune, both children were stung by a jellyfish. We were helped very well by the very friendly employees, no bad word about that. On to Maya Bay, known for its beach. With up to a thousand people at the same time on wooden planks to the once peaceful beach (it is forbidden to swim there now and that is a good thing) everything was disappointing here, the toilets are becoming too dirty and there is rubbish everywhere (this is a nature park) Back to the boat for an hour trip to Phuket. There are tours that take place at different times with respect for nature and not with large 1200 hp boats, but Sawanu is not one of them. It is a professional organization with friendly employees, but they aim to cheat as many people as possible for as much money as possible by offering very efficient and well-organized trips. If that's what you're looking for, definitely do it, but otherwise a nightmare. The brochure gives a completely different impression than the actual experience, which is why it has one star and again the employees themselves cannot do anything about that. Once but never again. Mass tourism at its ugliest.
