The tour begins at 1:30 p.m. with a pick-up from Vypin Jetty for those arriving from Fort Kochi. For those coming from Ernakulam (mainland), pick-up is at 2:00 p.m. from High Court Jetty. The drive to the destination takes approximately 45 minutes. This destination is a cluster of islands where village life remains untouched by the hustle and bustle of city life. A walk along the narrow ridges of the paddy fields offers a memorable experience. Optional cycling along the island roads, surrounded by paddy fields and natural fish/prawn farms, provides an ultimate biking experience. You will get to experience village life, traditional fishing methods, toddy tapping, and interact with the villagers. During March, April, and May, temperatures can reach up to 42 degrees. The monsoon season starts in the first week of June and lasts until July, making it the best time to experience monsoon showers. The tour concludes at 5:30 p.m. with a drop-off at the original pick-up point.
