A wonderful suprise - So we hired a car while on our family holiday in Paphos and as the terrain didn’t allow us to drive to the waterfall we decided to check out the Adonis Botanical Gardens. What a hidden gem. A wonderful place, Michalis is truly a beautiful soul with great passion and knowledge. His gardens and pool ( and soon to be glamping pods ) are fabulous. It’s a personal experience and we would highly recommend a visit. I feel like as this place grows booking a slot to visit will be essential to gain the experience Michalis has to offer. We had plenty of lovely homemade drinks and the most delicious watermelon ever. We felt extremely welcomed and loved every minute at these wonderful gardens. Thank you so much. I would love to return one day.

Great time to relax - It was really great!! We were very well received, they are of an incomparable kindness and generosity. Great time tasting juice (homemade lemonade and rose juice). He speaks passionately about these aromatic herbs. Great relaxing time at the pool!! I recommend 100%. Thank you for everything!! (They even played the game of speaking French)

Beautiful gardens with perfect host - Certainly worth a trip here. Michalis hospitality and generosity was second to none. Spend the time explaining about the local plants and produce he had. The fresh water pool area was , cleaner than our hotel. His lemonade and rose juice that we sampled for free were delicious. Please don't go here if you are in a rush or you expect some timed rushed around tour. Come here and spend a good few hours and really enjoy it and soak it all in and chat with michalis It certainly made our trip this year to cyprus. He was also very good with our son oscar and he can't wait to tell his teacher Mrs Johnson about his time there.

A must visit! - This is a real adventure and meeting an interesting owner who was able to create his own oasis in the middle of the mountains that serves himself. A must visit! They will give you a drink, smell the most interesting herbs and fill you with love.

Excellent, an authentic experience - We were incredibly surprised by the warm welcome and the tour given by the owner himself. A pleasure of awakenining all our senses with local herbs, oils and fresh fruit and home made lemonade, rose syrup with incredible views around us. Michalis is not only a good storyteller, yet his passion comes across as a lifestyle. We were inmersed in the making and nurturing of every type of plant, tree and flower from dragon fruit to bouganvilleas. Finally we got spend a peaceful few minutes overlooking this paradise, nested in the mountains yet sourrounded by lakes and sea. Extremely good value for the many hours spend while beeing so well treated.

A Sensory Adventure - The gardens are easy to find though the last 800 metres is on untarred road. Michalis the owner was welcoming and genuine. His talks on the benefits of herbs, spices and essential oils was both enlightening and entertaining. The free samples of drinks that passed around were made onsite and testament to his skills and abilities. The guided tour of the gardens with descriptions of the multitude of plants was educational. The only downside was that the paths are unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The views from the gardens were stunning with plenty of seats to sit and enjoy the vistas. The little onsite shop was full of dried herbs, spices and essential oils produced and the mix of aromas was intoxicating. Well worth a visit.

Hidden gem - We stumbled across this after looking to fill an afternoon in Cyprus and it was the best thing we did all week. After only planning to spend half an hour walking round the gardens we were treated to a guided tour which included samples of drink and oils made from produce in the gardens. The owner is very passionate and extremely knowledgeable. We checked the time and 2 hours had flown by. Would highly recommend visiting and spending time with the owner,

A delightful experience - A very pleasant two hours in the company of the owner, Dr Michalis, who produces herbs, essential oils and natural drinks from his home grown produce. Great opportunity to sample, with no hard sell. A unique experience.

A true hidden gem for all - Such an amazing hidden gem nestled in the mountain sides over looking the Dam with stunning views. Michalis is a remarkable man with inspiration stories for days! His life story leads him to why and how he built the gardens and opened his home to share with others his beautiful passion and work. We visited as a family and all enjoy the tranquility and peace in nature. We live in Paphos and visit regularly as a family to relax and share this beautiful place with close friends and family. Michalis produces his own pure essential oils that are out of this world. Be sure to visit to experience his wonderful shop too. Well worth a visit, can not recommend it highly enough 5 * all the way.
