By visiting the Mother House, we hope to gain valuable insights into her selfless service to the poor and sick and pay homage to this remarkable woman who has touched the lives of so many people around the world.
  • Jorasanko Thakur Bari - Jorasanko Thakur Bari is a historic ancestral mansion in Kolkata, West Bengal, which once belonged to the legendary Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and his family. It is a significant landmark in Indian history. It has been transformed into a museum dedicated to showcasing the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore and his family members.

The museum is home to a vast collection of artefacts, memorabilia, photographs, manuscripts, and other personal belongings of the renowned Thakur family. The displays provide fascinating insights into the Thakur family’s contribution to Indian literature, music, art, and culture. Visitors can explore the various rooms of the mansion and witness the grandeur of the architecture and the interiors, which reflect the luxury and elegance of the bygone era.

The museum also features a well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, including some of Rabindranath Tagore’s most famous works.

  • Prinsep Ghat 1 - As the day comes to an end, we will wrap up your “Kolkata Heritage & Sunset Experience: A Luxury Day Tour” with a visit to Princep Ghat. Here, we will witness a breathtaking sunset over the Hooghly River with the iconic Vidyasagar Setu as the backdrop.
