Highlights
  • Konjic - Konjic is a town and municipality located in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in northern Herzegovina, around 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Sarajevo. It is a mountainous, heavily wooded area, and is 268 m (879 ft) above sea level. The municipality extends on both sides of the Neretva River. As of 2013, it has a population of 26,381 inhabitants.
The town is one of the oldest permanent settlements in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dating back almost 4000 years; the city in its current incarnation arising as an important town in the late 14th century. Konjička Stara Ćuprija (Stara Ćuprija = English: Old Bridge) was built between 1682 and 1683 by Ali-aga Hasečić (as shown by a stone plaque at the centre of the bridge). It was built over six slightly pointed stone arches. It is the best-preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The arches were destroyed by the retreating German army in March 1945. The bridge was rebuilt in its original state between 2003 and 2009. The bridge is now proclaimed a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Lovely experience!! - Really enjoyed myself I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I had to take time to commend this wonderful team of hardworking individuals. As a solo traveler, I strive to learn about new cultures and their histories, and on my journey from Bosnia to Montenegro, the guides from this agency truly gave me the pleasure of enjoying the trip and learning some new facts. My guide Muamer was truly up to the task, and I literally enjoyed the 11-hour journey altogether. Besides the journey, we had an interesting lunch in Mostar where we tried the local trout. Thanks to them for the lovely experience and best of luck in their future endeavors

Excellent Trip!! - Excellent trip, highly recommended. We booked this tour directly through TripAdvisor and I can truly say we are more than satisfied. We booked a tour from Sarajevo to Kotor, where we visited all the major tourist attractions in Herzegovina during the day. Mostar was very beautiful, but the crowds were enormous, so I recommend taking a break with guides at the source of the Buna River. Our guides Kemal and Muamer were more than excellent, and I recommend them to everyone for their excellent knowledge and professionalism.

Well done to our guide Muamer - Well done to our guide Muamer A very interesting and pleasant guide, even though it was raining during our trip, we literally visited the whole of Herzegovina in one day, tasted wonderful local wine, and safely arrived in Kotor Number 5. Great alternative for traveling to Kotor Although we had the option of traveling by bus, we opted for this tour and transfer, driver Kemal was professional, and I recommend it to other travelers going to Kotor.

Great tour ⭐⭐ - A fantastic tour during the holidays. The tour was beautiful, regardless of the fact that there were not many people, because we came in the off-season, but it was certainly beautiful for us. The guide was accommodating and communicative. This is our second tour with the same agency and we can say that we are more than satisfied. We will definitely come back again and without a doubt book another tour with Bosnian Voyager. All recommendations!

Great tour - Muamer was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable. Not only did we stop at amazing places but he also told me a lot of history along the way and answered any question I had. I had a cancelled flight and wasn’t able to do the tour on my original date and he was great in accommodating my new schedule. I highly recommend this tour and if private, even better. Bosnia-Herzegovina is an amazing country that your should’t miss.

Amazing Tour!! - Our trip to Kotor last week was amazing. On the way to Montenegro, we made a small tour of Herzegovina. The biggest impression on us was the city of Mostar and the warmth of both the city and the people who live there. A walk around the old town and the view from the top of the Old Bridge delighted us. We even had the opportunity to watch locals jump from the old bridge into the cold Neretva river. It's amazing how much courage it takes to dare to jump. We learned that it is possible for any tourist to make this jump and then get a certificate. Maybe another time 😀 The Bosnian Voyager team did the job professionally, so we will definitely be back next year, maybe even then we'll gather courage and climb down from the old bridge.
