Eye opening. - The dark side is right. I had no idea this was happening in Hong Kong. Definitely worth doing this tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and honest about the "other side". So sad that people are forced to Iive this way.

Dark side of Hong Kong - Walk around the area with local guide. The guide has lot of knowledge, we could ask question a lot and he answer it. I recommend you this local tour if you curious that type of content. You don't be reglet.

Awesome tour - Excellent tour would definitely recommend to do it. Our guide had a great english and went in depth about locals living conditions etc For some reason we thought it will be more shocking however it wasn’t, not sure if it was filtered version but still great experience.

Tour to understand the housing issues, income disparities in Hong Kong - What an excellent way to see the other side of Hong Kong. Guide Frankie was most informative. Great insight to be able to visit an example of a sub-divided unit, to see and understand that it's not all posh and fancy.

More than just the "Cage Accommodation" - I'll admit I went to see the "cage accommodation", but this tour offers so much more. Incredible insight into how the "have nots" live and survive in Kowloon. We saw the "public housing" blocks and also the homeless people living under over-passes and in parks. Our guide was very informative and gave credible information into the current Housing unit prices as well as pointing out things happening in the neighborhood that would go undetected to the tourist eye (Methadone Clinic, "Massage parlors" offering more than just massage; wet market; people selling their wares on the street etc). The walking tour was very easy (I am 70-year-old female who is unfit and over-weight) and I had no trouble. Worth recommending as something quite different and a great source of information and sights worthy to regal to friends 'back home' !

Very educational tour - I learned alot about HongKong past the surface and got a glimpse into how the less privileged live. The tour of a subdivided apartment really helped me understand the housing crisis and challenges facing the city.

informative tour, highly recommend - We've all heard about the rich in HK living at The Peak while the poor lives in "cages". On this tour, we really saw one such cage! The guide Stephen gave us a very informative commentary on the living conditions of the poor, the rough sleepers (homeless), the jaw-dropping property prices of HK, the salons that offer "extra services".....Stephen's sharing is unpretentious. despite showing us the "dark side", his love for HK shines thru.
