Highlights
  • Bokor National Park - 1. We start from the hotel around 8:30 am. The drive up the hill takes about an hour. 2. We stop at a viewpoint to see the Kampot River, the city, and its surroundings. 3. After the viewpoint, near the giant face stone, we head up for another 20 minutes to see the Big Statue of Black Grandma (Yeay Moa), built in 2010 by Sokha Company. 4. In front of the Black Grandma Statue, we can visit the old black palace built by the French in 1936 for our King Father. 5. Besides the old king palace, we also visit an old Khmer pagoda, an old French church, and an old casino built by the French in the 1920s. 6. At the end of the hill, we head to see the Popokvil Waterfall and take a small trek to see the water cascade. - Salt Fields - After finishing at Bokor, we visit a salt farm where your guide will explain the importance of Cambodia’s salt industry to the local community of Kampot. Learn about the processes involved in this industry, and if you’re lucky, you might get to taste some! - Kampot Pepper Shop La Plantation - Your local French-speaking guide will show you around the Pepper and Spice Plantation and explain our organic farming methods. You’ll understand why Kampot Pepper was voted the best pepper in the world by chefs and gourmets. Enjoy a pepper and spice tasting during the tour. The guide will also share tips and recipes for cooking at home with La Plantation spices. - Kep - Our final destination is Kep, where you can explore the Crab Market and seafood markets. Besides seafood, you can also enjoy the best sunset view after swimming there. Included services: English-speaking driver as a guide, entrance fees at indicated sites, cold water for the day trip.

Discovering Kampot - Kari is such an amazing human being. Very knowledgeable of the sites and local culture, I had one of the best days whilst visiting Cambodia for three weeks. An experience you’ll appreciate for a long long time.

Kampot and Kep tour - We had the pleasure of having Kary as our guide/driver during our stay in Kampot/Kep. Kary is an enthousiatic guide with a lot of knowledge about the region. He is also a very good driver. Since I like taking pictures of almost everything he suggested good viewpoints. We can recommend him as a guide and driver and we go with him again when we re back in Cambodia.
