Highlights
  • Angkor Wat - The tour starts early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel and then takes a short transfer to Angkor Wat in time to see the sunrise. Your guide will take you to the best spots in Angkor Wat to witness the colorful sunrise. Then, you will go through the Angkor Wat central complex and hear about the history and symbolism of the temple from your expert guide.
  • Bayon Temple - Once you have discovered Angkor Wat and had breakfast, you will be met with your bike. Then start the bike tour down single trails behind Angkor Wat. Follow tracks that take you through small villages in the Angkor complex, and see how the locals go about their daily lives. You will then head out to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the Ancient Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with elephants and Four Giant Faces. From here, continue to Bayon Temple, located in the center of the city and famed as the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire.
  • Ta Prohm Temple - Next, cycle to Ta Prohm Temple, which is your next stop before some leisure time in the late afternoon. Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground, creating one of the most photogenic and atmospheric temples in the entire Angkor site. After all that crawling.
  • Srah Srang - End your day by enjoying lunch with a large spread of Cambodian dishes beside the ancient reservoir of Srah Srang.

Your support vehicle is waiting to transport you back to your hotel in Siem Reap. If you wish to cycle back to town, your guide will be more than happy to lead the way for you. You can expect to arrive back around 2:30 pm.

The best way to explore Angkor Wat - When you go by bike you not only see the wondrous temples of Angkor, but also get a unique experience of riding through some jungle. It's not so tiring as it might seem, really. When you ride it's not so hot. There aren't any heavy ups and downs. My guide, Voleak, was very friendly and knowledgeable with very good english. He told a lot of interesting things about the history and the current live in Cambodia. Highly recommended.

Active and up-close tour of Angkor - My tour with Roem was excellent! Biking around the temples allowed for me to see the beautiful area up close at a slower pace. Roem took the time to explain the history and the story behind the details of the temples. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and would recommend this to anyone who wants an active option to explore Angkor!

Ankor wat cycling adventure - Amazing tour with amazing guide Rith. Rith and his partner were very punctual in picking us up from the hotel for the sunrise bike tour in Ankor Wat. He was very helpful in advising us on the less crowded spots to take pictures of the sunrise too! In addition, his depth of knowledge of the history is excellent and we definitely learnt something from this trip! The tour was very well done, and the bicycles were well maintained. Rith constantly check behind to ensure we were following him, and he made sure to advise us on obstacles like branches or potholes. Breakfast and lunch, water refills, fruit snacks stop were included and they were decent! This is a must go for anyone feeling adventurous or need to burn off the carbs from Cambodian food!

Great e-bike tour with Hansom - Hansom was a phenomenal bike tour guide. We had to get back to our hotel by a certain time so he tailored our tour allowing us to see the top sights in less time. He was very considerate the entire time and was deeply knowledgeable of each temple, its story, best photo locations, and the intricate details. We ungraded to the e-bikes and they made the whole tour more pleasant given the heat. We were cooler on the bike than walking on the sun. The bike paths were 50% paved and the other 50% was mild dirt, nothing too advanced or muddy. We highly recommend the tour along with our guide Hansom.

Great day out - We had a fantastic time on our tour. Rith was an amazing guide - incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Ura, our tuktuk driver, was also lovely and they worked together to ensure we had a fantastic day. The bikes were great - I don't cycle often and the journey was very manageable. We had a lovely breakfast and lunch (included with the tour) and the sunrise was fantastic - worth the 4.30am start! The temples were incredible and it was a perfect way to explore.

“Peeerfect” to quote Voleak :) - My daughter and I had such a fantastic day on this trip with Voleak. We upgraded to bikes which made the 25-30k Bike riding in the jungle super fun. It wasn’t too hot either, with the breeze. Voleak Was very informative and spoke really excellent English so we learnt so much about the history of Cambodia and the three temples that we visited. He was also fun with a great sense of humour, lots of banter. I would highly recommend this trip. Breakfast and lunch were great, the morning tea fruit was Fresh and delicious And Voleak Had plenty of water to keep us hydrated. A brilliant day out.
