Highlights
  • Angkor Wat - Angkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation
  • first Hindu, dedicated to the god Vishnu, then Buddhist. It is the world’s largest religious building. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology: within a moat and an outer wall 3.6 kilometers (2.2 mi) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the center of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs and for the numerous guardian spirits adorning its walls.

Wonderful visit of the 3 main temples! - Our guide, So Phy, and driver were both excellent, super accommodating of our young kids, had cold water and cold towels for us all day which were amazing given the scorching heat! So-Phy gave us detailed explanations at each of the 3 main temples we visited, was also an amazing photographer for our family, and led us to a delicious lunch spot for a break. We had an amazing day!

Best in the business - Great experience. Would highly recommend this tour with Mr Sophy and Mr Cheang. Mr Sophy had outstanding knowledge on all temples visited, very informative in outstanding English and a very friendly and open personality. Knew exactly where the great photo spots and POIs were. Mr Cheang very efficient and had supplies (water and food stops) on hand whenever required. Can’t recommend enough, very happy that we booked with these guides. Thank you so much for a great excursion. 5*****

Temple Tour - Nak guides and temple tours. He was an English guide and passionate. Walking around the temple was fun. Korean guides also showed me places where they didn't go well. I was happy to explain many aspects of Cambodia's culture, including the main religion of Cambodia and the change in perception of modern religion.

Angkor Wat with nak - He is passionate about Cambodia's history and religion. It was enough as an English guide, as a duo, and we booked it, but it was private because we were with you. We've been able to see a new face of Cambodia, and we're willing to be together again in the future.

Very informative tour - Traveled with family with tour guide Sophie. We took the 3 temple tour. Sophie was very informative and gave a history and the role of religion in shaping the borders in the region. My concept about, what i believe, was a peacefull religion was changed when Sophy showed us evidence of defacing older belief system by the newer ones, at that era in this part of the world. Sophy also briefly discussed the recent genocide in the 1970’s The vehicle that was used has a very good aircon and they were always offering us cold water to cool down. It was alot to absorb.

A friendly expert guide makes the tour so much better - This trip was the third time my wife and I have visited the temples at Angkor Watt but only the first time we’d hired a guide to show us around – Having Nak Chum as our guide made this visit with our 6-year-old son easy and memorable - we learnt so much more about the history of the different temples and were shown fascinating details that we’d otherwise have missed. Our friendly, humorous guide Nak was absolutely fantastic. His English was fluent and he had expert knowledge of the temples which made this our best visit there. Nak was great with our young son and always happy to answer the many questions a six-year-old has; because Nak has the knowledge we don’t, it was great to having him there to explain more to our son than we ever could about the temples. Having an air-conditioned van and plenty of cold water for travelling between temples was also a lifesaver on an incredibly hot day. By having a guide, we definitely got so much more out of the experience - Nak is an excellent guide and we highly recommend having him take you to the temples.

Good tour, but mind the side hassle - We visited the 3 main temples with a guide named Sophy. The tour was nice, but the guide had some side business and brought us to this local shop near Angkor Wat with paintings and other stuff which they tried to sell. We later found these were overpriced, e.g. we spent 6$ for a fan which later found at a different store for 2$.
