The trip from Siem Reap to the dock takes approximately 40 minutes. Guests will have the opportunity to board a private boat to the floating village of Kompong Phluk (a traditional Khmer floating village situated 30km from Siem Reap). Explore the elevated homes on stilts, the floating healthcare facility, the local fisheries, the age-old rural lifestyle, and the scenic beauty of the submerged Mangroves forest. The boat excursion is about 1.5 to 2 hours long, but this can change with the seasons. For an additional fee of just 5 USD, you can take a 15-minute small boat tour through the Mangroves, providing a refreshing interlude on your trip to TonLe Sap and a chance to observe the unique wildlife and plants. The boat journey concludes with a panoramic view of the expansive TonLe Sap.
