Angkor Wat Private 3 Day Tour

This tour is perfect for those looking to explore the finest temples along with other attractions in Siem Reap, such as the Phnom Kulen National Park. It offers a flexible itinerary, providing a structured plan while allowing you to move at your own pace. The tour is based on the purchase of a 3-day temple pass.

Duration: 1 day
Cancellation: 24 hours
Highlights
  • Banteay Srei - Day 1: Begin at 08:00 am with your driver and tour guide picking you up from your hotel to purchase a 3-day temple pass. Head to the 37 km distant Banteay Srei temple before the crowds arrive. Along the way, we may stop for beautiful photo opportunities, and enjoy traditional Khmer village life and palm sugar and Palm Cake production.
  • Phnom Kulen National Park - Proceed to Phnom Kulen National Park and the river of 1000 Shiva Linga (9th century C.E, Hindu religion). The waterfall and riverbed carvings of 1000 Shiva Linga are a major attraction.
  • Angkor Wat - Day 2: We recommend starting early at 04:45 am. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to witness the incredible sunrise over Angkor Wat. After the crowd disperses, continue exploring Angkor Wat, which should be completed by around 08:00 am.
  • Angkor Thom South Gate - Head to Angkor Thom South Gate for wonderful pictures, which may take about 15 minutes, then proceed to Angkor Thom.
  • Bayon Temple - Visit Bayon Temple, the last state temple built at Angkor and the only Angkorian state temple primarily dedicated to Buddhist deities by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th or early 13th century.
  • Ta Keo - Visit Ta Keo Temple, a temple-mountain possibly the first to be built entirely of sandstone by the Khmer Empire. It was the state temple of Jayavarman V in the 10th century, dedicated to Hindu deity Shiva.
  • Ta Prohm Temple - Take a lunch break at a local restaurant near the temple (price $6-$8 per plate), then visit Ta Prohm Temple. Known as the “Tomb Raider Temple” or the “Angelina Jolie Temple” due to its appearance in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), it was built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery. After completing the second day of the tour, we will bring you back to your hotel or drop you off somewhere near the hotel if you prefer.
  • Preah Khan - Day 3: Start at 09:00 am (time is flexible; we work closely with you to discuss your travel needs). We will pick you up from your hotel and head to Preah Khan Temple (late 12th century C.E, Buddhist religion).
  • Neak Pean - Visit Neak Pean Temple (late 12th century C.E, Buddhist religion).
  • Ta Som - Visit Ta Som Temple (late 12th century C.E, Buddhist religion).
  • Eastern Mebon - Visit Eastern Mebon Temple (late 10th century C.E, Hindu religion, dedicated to Shiva).
  • Pre Rup - Take a lunch break at a local restaurant near the temple (price $6-$8 per plate), then visit Pre Rup (late 10th century C.E, Hindu religion, dedicated to Shiva).
  • Phnom Bakheng - This is the best spot for a fabulous sunset over the West Baray. After the sunset, the 3-day tour will be completed, and we will bring you back to your hotel or drop you off somewhere near your hotel if you prefer.

Memorable Siem Reap by Hindus - All travel arrangement communications with Kriss (Meas Pherk) were smooth and got the reply very quickly. I also arranged an English speaking guide Sopheap Keth through Kriss. The quote for the three day private travel is reasonable and also included Kbal Spean (1000 Lingas) and most historical structures built between 8th and 12 th century. We, four people traveled on this private tour. Kriss and Sopheap were always on time and accommodated all our expectations. They also found jack fruit for us although the fruit is off season now. Both were very courteous and made our trip to Siem Reap memorable. Our sincere thanks to the guide Sopheap who accompanied us on a difficult terrain on foot (about 90 minutes up and down) to Kbal Spean and looking after my elderly sister's safety on the trek. I recommend these guys for your trip to SR and you can trust these guys for your safe trip around SR. Overall, Cambodians are very nice and honest people. Please visit SR and generously spend to help the Cambodians.

BEST Tour in Cambodia with Kriss & Tom - We have booked the 3 days temple tour to get the most out of a short time in Siem Reap. Our expectations were high and we were not sure if we liked a guided tour the whole day since we are not guided tour fans, but this 3 days tour was unforgettable, interesting, funny and informative - so our expectations were exeeded. Kriss (our - very secure - driver, who was always ready for a good joke) and Tom (our very good and informed tour guide) gave us a very good understanding about the temples and the history around them. The tour was NEVER boring and we were sad as the tour ended. We were always asked by Tom if we have any special wishes or if we wanted any change in the proposed day plan. Both spoke very good English and were happy to help us out with our evening plans. Kriss & Tom - thank you so much for the warm welcome to Cambodia and the informative and unforgettable tour. We will definetly call you when we come back to Cambodia! Keep it up & AKUN TOMTOM :-)

Private tour - 3 days - to all the temples in Siem Reap - Kriss was our driver for 3 days. His English is great and a funny guy. We were very happy with the cost of $50 USD per day (plus entrance fees). He was flexible with our needs and would start the day at our chosen time and finish when we'd had enough. He gave us the option to do the sunrise at Angkor Wat which we gratefully accepted, and that day finished at 1:30pm which was nice to get back and have a swim in the hotel. I'd recommend Kriss and his services. Thanks mate!

A Perfect Trip To Siem Reap With Sincere Gratitude to Kriss - We did a lot of research on the temples around Siem Reap and knew we didn’t want to follow the herd and guide book advice. We also wanted to break-up our temple visits over 3 alternate days, with gaps inbetween for leisure, and didn’t want long hot days rushing around exhausted battling the crowds. We contacted several private guides/drivers in advance with our itinerary, and all tried to sell add-ons and encourage us to go to temples, villages or places we had no interest in, to pad out the trip and increase the price. Some ( AboutAsiatravel ) wanted to charge ridiculous exorbitant prices ( approx $1,000 USD) for no reason other than the fact they’ve apparently been mentioned in overseas newspapers or on CNN travel. And then we found Kriss. Firstly, he answered within hours of contact, and completely accepted what we wanted to do. There was no pressure, no selling of extras, no haggling. He named his price for driver, car and English speaking guide, which was perfectly acceptable. And he had a photo of his car so we were not in for any nasty surprises like a Tuk-Tuk turning up or a knackered old van. On our 3 trips with Kriss and his guide, they were always punctual. They were completely open to any alterations to our plans. They were always polite, charming and fun and took good care of us. We enjoyed being with them. They kindly provided water and cold wet flannels to cool us down in the heat. As a result all three trips were absolutely perfect for us, and we really appreciated it. They were both a very important factor for us enjoying our week in Cambodia and seeing the highlights of Siem Reap. Make no mistake, if there had been issues on our first excursion we would have dropped their services. But we were very happy and looked forward to seeing them again for our other trips. Without hesitation we highly recommend Kriss.

Tonle Sap, Angkor Wat, and Ku Lean Mountain - I wanted to visit Cambodia from Thailand and decided to fly because of my 83 year old father and of course needed transportation. I found Kriss on google with great ratings and sure enough he was a very good, reliable and an honest driver. He was on time everyday and I felt safe with his driving (streets of Cambodia is not so great). He made sure to accommodate my father and my teen son. The restaurants he took us to for lunch were decent - I did not get food poisoning. With Kriss, he has excellent English and knowledge and a separate English tour guide was not very necessary. Although, the tour guide was able to help us navigate around the huge temple and take our pictures.

Great tour - I had a great three-day private tour. Mr. Kriss was very punctual and friendly, and the guide was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Mr. Kriss made sure there was water available throughout the tour, and the chilled wet napkins was a nice touch. They even took me to some temples that were not on the itinerary. I highly recommend this tour.
