Great tour of the city - You’ll travel through the city on a tuk tuk and visit markets, temples but visiting APOPO was my favorite, what a cool experience. The guide was so kind and informative and provided us with water during our tour. Definitely worth it, we had extra time after another tour and it was nice to roam through the city and see areas we otherwise wouldn’t on our own.

Vin is a great guide to the city! - Our guide Vin was wonderful and passionate about showing us Siem Reap. Because it was a private tour it was flexible and we were able to customize what we saw. He showed us unique parts of the city and was able to tell us about the history and culture of the city. It was a great tour!!!

5 stars - I booked this tour last minute (1am on the same day) and ended up being the only one on the tour - lucky me, a truly private guided tour! This meant the tour was paced and really focused to my requirements which was great. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke perfect English, the places we went to were certainly things I would have otherwise missed, I picked up some nice souvenirs and would recommend adding the APOPO centre to the itinerary. If you are considering the tour, don't hesitate.

Siem reap city tour with lovely Lux - This city tour of Siem Reap was amazing. It is such a beautiful and special city and the inclusions really show you the local culture. This tour would not have been as amazing if it wasn’t for my lovely guide, Lux! He was kind, passionate about his job, and very knowledgable about the city and its history. I would highly recommend booking with him if you get the opportunity! He gave me ample time to explore and I wasn’t time pressured, and he happily answered every question with ease. Side note: please visit the optional rat minefield learning experience. It was so interesting and such a worthy cause.

Wonderful guide with great insight. - Genuinely full of hidden gems. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The guide was able to adapt the tour to our relaxed style rather than just reading from a script (like some of the other tours we took). We had lots of odd questions but he was able to answer them all. LOVED the Apopo centre - such amazing work they're doing. Everyone on my Christmas list is getting an adopted hero rat. The restaurant for lunch had delicious options - the food was more Thai but with some Khmer options. Honestly one of the best Tom Yum soups I've had in my life!! When the tour finished I went back to the old market and explored with out my husband slowing me down - it was awesome.

Good tour to be introduced to siem reap and Cambodian culture - I enjoyed this first introduction to Siem reap before I saw the ruins of Ankhor way and Ankhor Thom. I did not know very much about the area before my travels and Mr Don, my guide, was very passionate about the history and culture of the area. I appreciated being able to discuss all kinds of topics with him. The visit to Apopo is I think a must for every visitor to understand the impact of wars on the Cambodian people and to help assist the country to eventually revive their country. The historical sites we visited were interesting and gave me an introduction to the culture that I would learn more about in my subsequent tours. I liked the craft shop stop as it allowed me to see many artisans at work and it was not an atmosphere of pressure to buy. I would have recommended that they do a bit more of orienting a first time tourist to the overall plan of the downtown - I know that he would have done it if I asked but I didn’t think to ask until I was done. For me, this tour was a bit pricey but I didn’t get the rate that trip advisor initially advertised. I’m hoping that my guide and driver got paid more … not just the middle man.

Gives you a good idea of the city - Because we had little time to visit the city of Siem Reap, we booked this tour. You see many different things in the city in a short time and get an overview of the city. We had a very good guide who spoke good English and also told us something about life in Cambodia. We came to places that we would never have found ourselves. We did the tour in the afternoon and did not do a number of things on the program, such as the school and the Apopo center. Probably because the opening hours no longer allowed that. So don't start the tour too late.
