Highlight of our Trip to Siem Reap - We had an incredible day touring with our guide, Sorphea. We stopped at a market in a local village, then were able to walk around Kampoon Phluk since it was low season and dry. We also took a boat ride out onto the lake. What an incredible day--HIGHLY recommend this experience.

A wonderful experience, highly recommend. Thanks Sorphea! - Sorphea was an excellent and informative guide. He took us to a local market, giving lots of insights into the way of life of the local people. The boat ride through the floating village was amazing, as was our small boat ride through the mangroves. To cap a perfect tour, Sorphea took us to an excellent restaurant in the 'jungle '. A wonderful experience, highly recommend 😀.

Do not miss this experience when in Siem Reap - The private tour with our guide Vantha was amazing!! He took us to the local market and showed us many local products that we had no idea about. To see the fishing village later on and how the locals live was very impressive. Vantha is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This tour is definitely recommended (it’s much less touristic which is great). We also did the little mangrove boat tour which was magical, we even saw a monkey in the trees.

Tyler Sap Adventure - This is not a tour of Angkor Wat, and you'll be glad for the change. Our fantastic guide, Sorphea, and driver, Phirum, picked us up promptly at the hotel and whisked us to the village of Kampon Phluk, which lies adjacent to Tonle Sap Lake. We walked through a rural morning market, seeing all sorts of fish, mear, fruit, and vegetables being prepared and sold. Sorphea explained everything. We soon reached our small boat, which took us along a canal to a village where we walked and soaked in the atmosphere of children playing. We continued to a point where you could experience a boat ride among the mangroves ($10 extra). Our woman "captain" was an expert with a single oar. We were visited by a monkey, and the captain collected.snails at the base of mangrove trees for dinner. After that side trip, we went out into the main lake... and the shoreline disappeared! Tonle Sap is more than 100 miles long, and it appears to be an ocean. We returned from that point until being dropped safely at our hotel. Well done to our tour guide team, Sorphea and Phirum.

Incredibly relaxing and educational trip to Tonle sap lake - What an incredible experience to visit the Tonle Sap Lake with Phi. This was so interesting to visit the farmer market first, then the lake and mangroves, followedby by the floating village. Phi was very good at explaining the local life and answered all our questions regarding the culture and the environment. Take the extra canoe trip in the mangroves $12 for 2 people per canoe you won’t regret it. It was the most tranquility I got all year. Meeting the kids in the village was the highlight. Please take cash to support local economy, boat drivers, buy stationary for the kids etc… it means a lot especially while they are waiting for the tourists to return. Lunch was not provided but we asked to go somewhere and he took us to this lovely place in the jungle on the way back that was so nice. Enjoy and recommend ++++++

For Alex's birthday, Sath made my day. - The journey to the stilt town on the lake was interesting. You'll get to observe how the people really live their lives, obtain their daily necessities, go to school, etc. When I was there, it was the dry season. When the rainy season arrives, it will literally resemble a floating village. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and insightful about all things connected, including facts, figures, and information regarding size. The Tonlé Sap, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, is home to settlements where residents coexist peacefully with the water's ebbs and flows. Our final visit was at a restaurant that was overflowing, and we were all cheered on the roof of the establishment with four bottles of Angkor beer. You won't be regrets if you ask for both of them.
