Highlights
  • Park Hyatt Siem Reap - Begin your day with a hotel pick-up at 9 am from your accommodation in Siem Reap City, heading first to Angkor Silk Farm.
  • Artisans Angkor - Your next destination is Artisans Angkor, a semi-public company established to provide employment opportunities for young Cambodians in their home villages within Siem Reap province. As the largest employer in the province, Artisans Angkor frequently opens new workshops in rural areas and develops new training programs.

Artisans Angkor has become a prominent showcase of Khmer craftsmanship, featuring silk fabrics and garments, stone and wood carvings, lacquerware, ceramics, silver-plated copperware, silk paintings, and jewelry.

  • Angkor Green Gardens by Dara - Siem Reap - Take in the natural beauty and perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll through these lush gardens.
  • War Museum Cambodia - Next, visit the War Museum Cambodia. This Civil War Museum is a popular tourist attraction in Siem Reap, offering insights into the region’s history.
  • Wat Thmey (Killing Fields) - Continue to Wat Thmey (Killing Fields). This pagoda in Siem Reap features a small memorial stupa containing the skulls and bones of victims killed during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979.
  • Psar Chaa - Old Market - After lunch (at your own expense), proceed to Psar Chaa - Old Market. This bustling market is filled with souvenir shops, pubs, bars, and restaurants catering to backpackers and tourists. For an authentic local experience, visit at dawn to see fresh vegetables, meats, and various foods on display. You’ll also find Buddha statues and local Cambodian arts and crafts for sale at the souvenir stores.
  • Wat Bo Temple - Next, visit Wat Bo Temple, one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It features well-preserved 19th-century wall paintings, some of which depict the ancient love story of Rama and Shita. Despite being a Buddhist temple, these paintings tell a Hindu story, which is quite remarkable. The royal families of Southeast Asia still claim descent from Rama.

Around 5:00 pm, you’ll return to your hotel in Siem Reap, concluding the tour.

  • Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine - Visit this peaceful spot, known for its rural beauty. Enjoy the tranquility and perhaps engage in light activities like cycling or simply soaking in the surroundings.
