• Ege Ports - Our tour guide will greet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of designated hotels with a sign displaying your name at the pre-arranged time. The pick-up time will be provided during your confirmation. Typically, pick-up from Kusadasi Cruise Terminal is scheduled 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrives.

• Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - Our first destination is the House of Virgin Mary, situated on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. According to the third Ecumenical Council in Ephesus in 431 AD, Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the house was discovered, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a pilgrimage site in 1892. Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there on July 26, 1967.

• Ancient City of Ephesus - Our next stop is the Ancient City of Ephesus, one of Turkey’s main attractions. Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor), is located near Izmir. As a port city, it was a significant departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor.

Stroll through history along marble streets lined with remarkable public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, which was constructed in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila in memory of his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and the Grand Theater, built in the 3rd century B.C. and later expanded by the Romans in the 1st century A.D. to accommodate 24,000 spectators, are among the most impressive structures in Ephesus.

• Ephesus Terrace Houses - The Terrace Houses are included only in the two options that feature them (Private with Terrace Houses and Small Group with Terrace Houses). They are not included in the other two options without Terrace Houses.

Located on the slopes of Pion Mountain, the Terrace Houses consist of six residential units built on three man-made terraces. These homes were inhabited by wealthy citizens of Ephesus and are lavishly decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to climb from the bottom to the top. Please note that this attraction is not recommended for individuals with walking difficulties or acrophobia (fear of heights).

• The Temple of Artemis - Our final stop is the Temple of Artemis, once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, before we return to Kusadasi town center and port.

• Kusadasi Gazi Begendi Park - We will drive to Kusadasi Port and town center through Gazi Beğendi Park.

• Ege Ports - Arrival at Kusadasi Port marks the end of our services.
