- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The first stop is The House of Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council in 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the house’s discovery, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there. Then, a 10-minute drive to Ephesus upper gate.
- Ancient City of Ephesus - We will start visiting one of Turkey’s main highlights, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) located near Izmir. As a port city, it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, built in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila as a memorial to his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. The Grand Theater was built in the 3rd century B.C. and was later expanded to hold 24,000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
- The Temple of Artemis - We will stop at the Temple of Artemis, once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, as our last stop before driving back to Kusadasi town center and port. The end of our services.
- Kusadasi Gazi Begendi Park - Drive back to Kusadasi through Gazibegendi Park to have the best view of Kusadasi Port and center.
- Kusadasi - Return to Kusadasi city center and the end of our services.

Visit Ephesus & The House of Virgin Mary & Artemission Temple with a small group ( Max. 16 guests ). Our professional licenced tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi port with Viator & Your Name sign. This tour takes 4 to 5 hours depends upon traffic and crowds in the sites. Our guide will have pre-paid tickets to the sites. The entrance fees can be paid to our guide at the end of the tour in cash or by visa or master card.
Small group option can be booked by CRUISE Guests only. Private option can be booked by hotel and cruise guests.

Fabulous Tour to Ephesus by Kusadasi Private Tours - Excellent private tour. Our guide, Emre, was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Kusadasi. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - he was great and spoke excellent English. He was also very accommodating. In addition to the Ephesus, Virgin Mary House, & Artemis Temple tour, he took us to a family owned Ceramic store and to a leather store we were treated to a private fashion show and later taken back to the store and treated like royalty as we tried on different leather jackets and looked at the beautiful handbags, wallets and more. We got a great deal on our purchases thanks to Emre! Of all the locations on our cruise, this one was probably the most surprising in a positive way. We hope to one day return to Turkey! It was time and money well invested.

The best trip ever thans to our fabulous guide Nilgün!!!! - A trip that exceeded all my expectations thanks to the wonderful guide Mrs. Nilgün, who fulfilled all our wishes and desires, creating unforgettable memories for us. Extremely knowledgeable, she managed to convey to us the rich history of Ephesus in a very informative but at the same time entertaining way. Also she brought us closer the rich culture, life and customs of the Turkish people and we had the opportunity to see the entire process of creating famous Turkish carpets and enjoy the authentic flavors of Turkish home cooking and the local host. A wonderful experience that I would like to wish for everyone. The best trip ever!!!!

Worth it!!! - This tour was absolutely phenomenal. Amazing tour of Ephesus and the surrounding area. Our tour guide, Dicle, was very educated on the history, and even spent some extra time giving us a tour of local Turkish markets, local pottery making, and local carpet making. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough.

Another wonderful stay at The Pax house Dingle - This was our forth visit to The Pax house and it is the only place we would stay when in Dingle. We stayed in a classic sea view room with views down to Dingle bay and the hills over towards the ring of Kerry. The bed is very comfortable so a great nights sleep is always guaranteed. The breakfast is a real treat all beautifully cooked and presented. Would always recommend The Pax house Dingle.

Group Tour of Ephesus, The House of Virgin Mary, The Temple of Artemis - Our tour guide was with Curio Travel. His name is Nazmi from Priene. He was an excellent guide telling many interesting facts. His personality was wonderful, you just wanted to listen and hear all he had to teach. He was outstanding! Awesome! Wonderful!
