WOW! A Great day in Ephesus. - This was our last Cruise Port of call after a 12 day Cruise, with 9 port stops. Each one was memorable. However, the last one at Ephesus was the best of them all. We were met promptly by our guide and from the first moment she was informative, personal and made sure my wife and I were taken care of the whole trip. We had signed up for an independent tour because of the Biblical focus of the Ephesus area. Our guide was very informed and gave us more than we expected. We even were offered a chance at some local flavor of the area with a wonderful lunch experience with a Turkish rug demonstration. Each hour we were together was a very special hour of information and exposure to the area where the memory pictures will be very cherished.

THE reason to visit is shown on this excursion - Aylin gave us the exact experience we were looking for, full of love for this area and the knowledge of ancient times that we sought. We consider this excursion the highlight of our 21 day cruise. I have walked where Paul was! It changes the way you study and learn. Thank you for a most wonderful trip. Liz and Bob

A HIGHLIGHT OF A REMARKABLE TRIP - Even with all the beautiful aspects of Ephesus available to us, one of the best parts of our tour was our guide Kerem, his commentary and knowledge was spellbinding.

Best excurion of our entire trip to Greece and Turkey. Outstanding intimate Christian tour. - My wife and I were with 2 other couples on a Holy land cruise from Athens to Jerusalem and we booked this private Ephesus mini group tour with tour guide Mr. Melih. We were all impressed with the professionalism and biblical knowledge with hisorical context that tour guide Mr. Melih provided as we embarked on our excursion off the Norwegian Jade at Kusadasi. We were off the ship asap because it was a short hald day in port and escorted through port to the Mercedes sprinted van with driver waiting for us. As most sites weren't open yet, we first stopped at a UNESCO world heritage site Lotus Ceramics pottery studio to watch a craftsman in action and purchase some unique works of art, across from the ruins of an old turkish bath house. Then we had a quick visit to the house of the Virgin Mary then we spent some time walking through the archeological excavations at ancient Ephesus where Paul lived and preached to the Ephesians. The stories and insights Melih shared really added to our understanding of the everyday life of the people of Ephesus and the fledgling Christian church Paul nurtured while there. As I watched the large group tours lumber slowly through the site, I was so glad we had a small group so that we could all see and hear exactly what Melih was talking about and avoid the crowds. After walking through the major sites at Ephesus, we visited the ruins of the Cathedral of St. John where the apostle John is buried. In the distance nearby we could see the one remaining column from the ruins of one of the ancient wonders of the world, The Temple of Artemis. They returned us back to the ship on time (so we could sail away to the second port of the day for a rare evening arrival at Patmos). All 6 of us were very satisfied with the tous and especially the historical and Christian biblical commentary of Mr Melih. While our cruise never made it to Jerusalem, the tour in Ephesus was the highlight of our whole 10 day trip including Athens, Ancient Corinth, Cyprus and Santorini, Thanks so much!

Best tour of the 14 day cruise!! - We had an excellent private Ephesus tour with Tunc on our cruise stop in Kudasi. Tunc met us at the port, escorted us to a private car and was extremely knowledgable about the area. We visited the Virgin Mary house, Ephesus and St John's cathedral. Tunc was a book of knowledge on all the sites and took pictures of us in each place. Also explained much of the history of Turkey. Highly recommend!!

Great informative tour - We had a great tour with our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and did a terrific guide in getting thru all of the tour locations in a very optimized schedule. We spent more time seeing the sights than standing in lines. We enjoyed the tour so much that we did it twice since our cruise ship stopped in the port two different days.

Ephesus/Kusadasi and surrounding areas - Wonderful time, so much to see and do. Not enough time. We will have to plan another trip solely to this area. Our guide was fantastic and we would specifically ask for him again. Highly recommend the area, the guide, the company and the trip!
