Love Phoencia Travel! Well worth the time and money! - We had an amazing time. This tour was very well thought out and everything was amazing. Our tour guide arrived on time with a clean, comfortable, and air conditioned vehicle - including a driver! Her English was very good and so was her knowledge of turkey and the surrounding places. We had a great tour and learned all kinds of amazing facts. I was with my parents who walk slower and she guided us through some of the slippery / steps parts. We also stopped at a local village where we learned how some of the crafts were made. This was also a unique and welcomed experience. Thank you for such an amazing day! My dad kept saying what a nice time he had and how he was thankful we did this tour.

Relaxing day of History, Culture and Wine - We had an excellent experience on this tour from our cruise port in Kusadasi, providing an appreciation for the rich history and culture. The tour of Ephesus was the main highlight of the day. Azime, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the ancient ruins, and it was fascinating to learn about the significance and purpose of each excavated area within the city. She helped us visualize the city as it existed in its prime, even demonstrating the acoustics of the theatre by playing a recording of traditional music that reverberated for all in the theatre to hear. Azime was happy to adapt the tour along the way to add anything else we might enjoy. When we mentioned an interest in learning about the local pottery, she took us to visit a shop where her family worked. The shop had beautiful, handcrafted ceramics that showcased traditional techniques. We learned about their unique clay and glazing, the heritage of ceramics in Selçuk, and the passion and dedication that goes into creating these beautiful works of art. We concluded this wonderful day with a visit to a beautiful local winery for a wine tasting. We also opted to add a delicious lunch, which gave us more time to chat with Azime about the area in which she was raised. We were more off the beaten path and truly enjoyed the serene views and an enjoyable time conversing about food, life, and Turkish hospitality all while enjoying more wine. We would highly recommend this tour or any of Azime's tour offerings. She does a fantastic job bringing history to life and sharing her passion for her home.

Faultless! - From enquiry to finishing our trip I cannot fault the service and professionalism we received from Phoenicia Travel. Our trip was a last minute decision but we are so glad we chose it! Charming Izmir - We had a wonderful private tour with Emre. He was a great resource, super friendly, well informed. It was like touring Izmir with an old friend. The ruins were surprisingly beautiful and well preserved. We loved touring the old grand villas of Ephesus. The restorations are impressive. The wine tasting was the perfect way to end a busy day of sight seeing. We enjoyed the drive through the countryside and the vineyards.

EMRE IS AMAZING!! - My wife and I were on a cruise in September 2023. We coordinated have Emre pick us up from the port of Kusadasi. His car was very nice. He first took us to Ephesus. Unlike many guides, he drove us AND was our personal guide walking with us through our two locations we went to. His English is perfect. His knowledge of Ephesus was outstanding. Ephesus was absolutely worth seeing and short Emre did a great job of bringing it to life for us. He then suggested we go for a short drive to see the burial location of the apostle John. This was a very pleasant surprise. Make sure you have Emre take you to the burial site. Our last stop was for a lovely lunch with locally produced wine. Emre and Phoenicia Travel made for an OUTSTANDING day. If you are going to be in Kusadasi, do yourself a favor, and have Emre be your personal guide. He was amazing. Bill and Pam Bratton

Great Experience! - We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Emre! He greeted us exactly where and when he said he would at the Kusadasi port where our cruise ship arrived. The van/SUV was very nice, clean and he had a driver so he was able to talk with us about the history, culture and sites we were about to see. He even had nice cold bottled water for us. He was very easy to understand and answered our many questions about Turkey. Not only did we see the ruins, but also enjoyed a wine tasting and meal at a beautiful vineyard. We also wanted to go to the Basilica of St. John which he was happy to oblige, along with a mosque in Kusadasi. My only suggestion would be to ask to avoid going to the rug demonstration. It was interesting but unless you are in the market for a rug, it was a little awkward to say no. They are very nice rugs and a very reputable dealer. It will be a nice memory from our trip. Emre was very flexible and he bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend! We enjoyed our tour so much we booked another tour with Phoenicia Travel in Istanbul which was awesome too!

Amazing Epehesus tour with winetasting after - We had an absolutely amazing day out with Emre. The tour was fantastic, his knowledge and information of the area and history was astounding. It was a day to remember for life. We had duch a grest time that we even arranged another private tour with him for the following day. As there is so much more to explore in Turkey , we will definitely come back again and then will only book with Phoenicia Tours.
