  • Petronas Twin Towers - Standing at 451.9 meters, the iconic Petronas Twin Towers symbolize modern Malaysia. Located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), the towers are surrounded by landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, luxury hotels, a mosque, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. Visitors can explore the Skybridge on the 41st floor and the Viewing Deck on the 86th floor.
  • Batu Caves - Batu Caves is a famous tourist destination in Selangor, featuring a Hindu temple and shrine. This limestone hill, located just north of Kuala Lumpur, attracts thousands of worshipers and tourists. It has three main caves with temples and Hindu shrines, and its main highlight is the large statue of a Hindu deity at the entrance. Visitors can climb 272 steps to enjoy a stunning view of the city skyline. The area is also popular for rock climbing and is home to playful monkeys. The caves are adorned with paintings and scenes of Hindu gods.
  • National Monument - The National Monument honors those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, especially during the fight against communism. The monument grounds feature one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures, created in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also designed the Iwo Jima Monument in Washington, D.C.
  • Istana Negara - Istana Negara, or the National Palace, is the official residence of the King of Malaysia. Located on Jalan Duta, this grand building became the National Palace in November 2011, replacing the old palace on Jalan Istana. It features 22 domes, with the largest dome reaching 40 meters in height. Note: Visits are limited to the exterior.
  • Menara Kuala Lumpur - KL Tower, standing at 421 meters atop Bukit Nanas and 94 meters above sea level, is a prominent feature of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. Its architecture reflects Islamic heritage, with Arabic scripts, Islamic tiles, classic floral and abstract motifs, and soothing color combinations.
  • Malayan Railway Administration Building - This beautiful old building, known for its Moorish architecture, houses the railway station and administration offices.
  • National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Masjid Negara is a distinguished landmark in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a unique star-shaped dome and a 73-meter high minaret. Located near the KL Lake Gardens, visitors are advised to dress appropriately, and women are required to wear headscarves.
  • Sultan Abdul Samad Building - Located in front of Dataran Merdeka, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building houses the Supreme and High Courts. Known for its Moorish design and clock tower, it is a popular photo spot for visitors.
  • Merdeka Square - Situated opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and next to the Royal Selangor Club, Merdeka Square is where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malayan Flag was raised for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. It is the venue for the annual Merdeka Parade.
  • The River of Life - The River of Life (ROL) is a seven-year project by the Malaysian government to transform the Klang River into a vibrant waterfront with high economic value. Covering eight rivers with a total length of 110 km, the project has three major components.
  • KLCC Park - KLCC Park is an urban park in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, designed to provide greenery to the Petronas Twin Towers and surrounding areas.
  • Kuala Lumpur City Gallery - Founded in 1989, KL City Gallery has served various purposes, including as a printing office, Ministry of Labour, and Postal Authorities. It now features two floors of exhibition space, a cafe, a museum shop, and acts as a tourist information center.
  • Little India Brickfields - Brickfields became the center of brick-making in the late 19th century after a fire and flood in 1881 destroyed Kuala Lumpur’s wooden and thatched structures. British Resident Sir Frank Swettenham ordered the use of brick and tile for new buildings, giving the town its purpose.
  • Sri Maha Mariamman Temple - This stunning Hindu temple, one of the oldest, features a 22-meter-high gate tower adorned with intricately carved images of Hindu deities. Inside, the deities of the Hindu goddess Maha Mariamman are embellished with gold and precious stones. The area is filled with the sights and sounds of peddlers selling jasmine garlands and aromatic incense.
  • Thean Hou Temple - Built between 1981 and 1987, Thean Hou Temple is a large, modern structure with a traditional ornate facade. Managed by Malaysia’s Hainanese community, it spans six tiers and reflects the heritage of sea-faring fisherfolk from Hainan, China.
  • Royal Selangor Visitor Centre - The Visitor Centre offers a journey through the history of Royal Selangor and its connection to Malaysia’s history. Complimentary guided tours showcase the development of tin mining in the 1800s, traditional pewtersmithing tools, antique pewter, and ancient tin currency at the Pewter Museum.
  • East Coast Batik Sdn Bhd (Batik CHONG) - Established in 1974, East Coast Batik is one of the oldest batik and handicrafts centers in Klang Valley. The gallery offers a holistic experience in Malaysian batik and handicrafts, demonstrating that batik is more than just elaborately designed cloth.
