Perfect half-day tour - The temple and the stop to feed the monkeys were really nice. Afterwards we went to a nice restaurant to have dinner, the food was delicious. The boattour in the end was great, especially the part were we saw the fireflies. It was an awesome experience.

Fireflies - The tour was wonderful and so was our guide. The fireflies and plankton were amazing. My kids really loved feeding the monkeys as well.

Great for first timers - If you haven't seen fire flies before, then you will enjoy. It's an hour drive from KL, but worth the trip. Our guide, Ragu, was amazing. So friend and helpful to all in our small group of ten. He was full of historical information about the area and we appreciated his insight. The dinner provided offered both flavour and variety. The temple tour and monkey feeding were also lovely stops during the trip.

Great trip! - Great experience. Visited a temple and the monkeys en route. Fireflies and blue water was a bucket list item. Would recommend.

Kuala Lumpur Adventure - The monkeys were the best part of this trip! The bioluminescence was amazing, too. Great guide even though time got short because of an accident. I recommend this trip to anyone if they are in the area during the bioluminescence.

Excellent - The upside to this trip - I absolutely loved how good the communication was between myself and the driver LG (think that's how it's spelt ) he was extremely accommodating.. as he agreed to collect me directly from my hotel (which saved me getting a cab to another pick up location) He drove us safely there and back. LG was very polite kind and curtious. The fireflies experience was SPECTACULAR! Absolutely in awe of seeing them..a must see ! i was truly looking forward to seeing the blue tears as advertised from your photos.. it was nothing like it at all.. Just a few specs of blue once we put the fishing net hand held pole in the water.. unless its seasonal? Or perhaps too many trips to the same place have moved the algae/plankton that creates the 'blue' in the water. That unfortunately was a disappointment. Anyway, the whole experience was worth it and no fault to Viator if the plankton aren't there anymore, but I don't think you should put pics if there aren't any there.

Not quite as expected due to rain - The rain and lightening show. While we looked forward to the trip, due to weather not the best experience. Didn't get to see the fireflie. Tour guide was great.

Meh - The bioluminescent photoplankton are not nearly as active as these photos. Very unimpressive, especially compared to my experience in Fajardo, Puerto Rico

OK I guess - When the boat arrived at the fireflies, everyone started turning on their flashlights on their cell phones, and it was very difficult to see the fireflies. The captain did not do a good job enforcing the rule of no lights.

Not what’s in the brochure - The place is really not worth the money or time spent. To me the whole thing seemed so exaggerated. The fireflies or the blue lights are not what’s in the promotional photos. The boats are old and dirty also. I don’t recommend wasting your vacation time on this activity.
