Great trip! - Great experience. Visited a temple and the monkeys en route. Fireflies and blue water was a bucket list item. Would recommend.

Great firefly tour - Was great being a solo traveller joining a small private group.well organised trip,tour operator spoke good English,and told us the plan,toilet breaks,points if interest etc.

Great experience! To do absolutely - Very nice experience! We saw lots of fireflies and enjoyed seeing the blue algae (plankton). We also recommend our guide LG who was really great and explained the history of the area to us!

Unforgettable Evening! - Amazing trip with a wonderful guide. Was able to catch the glowing planktons and the fireflies in addition to stopping at a temple on the way in! Memorable experience.. Be prepared for delays due to heavy traffic though! Visiting an old fort and taking in the distant Malacca strait was an added bonus. Highly recommend this trip and our guide LG from Lava travels

Kuala Lumpur trip - The fireflies were amazing, we were able to see them close up and our boat operator caught one for us and passed it to us and we were able to have it on our hands which was amazing, also the blue tears was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this trip.

Excellent - The upside to this trip - I absolutely loved how good the communication was between myself and the driver LG (think that's how it's spelt ) he was extremely accommodating.. as he agreed to collect me directly from my hotel (which saved me getting a cab to another pick up location) He drove us safely there and back. LG was very polite kind and curtious. The fireflies experience was SPECTACULAR! Absolutely in awe of seeing them..a must see ! i was truly looking forward to seeing the blue tears as advertised from your photos.. it was nothing like it at all.. Just a few specs of blue once we put the fishing net hand held pole in the water.. unless its seasonal? Or perhaps too many trips to the same place have moved the algae/plankton that creates the 'blue' in the water. That unfortunately was a disappointment. Anyway, the whole experience was worth it and no fault to Viator if the plankton aren't there anymore, but I don't think you should put pics if there aren't any there.

Worth doing - Was quite some experience, worth doing and seeing. Make sure you take insect repellent with you. Really enjoyed the fireflies

Not quite as expected due to rain - The rain and lightening show. While we looked forward to the trip, due to weather not the best experience. Didn't get to see the fireflie. Tour guide was great.

OK I guess - When the boat arrived at the fireflies, everyone started turning on their flashlights on their cell phones, and it was very difficult to see the fireflies. The captain did not do a good job enforcing the rule of no lights.

Not like the photos - Very disappointed, these photos have been photoshopped big time. Long drive for a hour boat ride. The firefly’s were a few flashing lights in the trees. The blue tears were a few blue bugs in the water if you were lucky to catch them.. driver was friendly and drive comfortable but not worth it.
