• Batu Caves - Begin your journey with a hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur, heading first to the limestone hills of Batu Caves, which feature three main caverns and several smaller ones. This site is a shrine dedicated to Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity, and requires climbing 272 steps to reach the temple cave. Another cave, known as the museum cave, showcases images of deities and murals illustrating scenes from Hindu scriptures.

• Putrajaya - Located south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia officially known as the Federal Territory of Putrajaya. It is renowned for its late-20th-century architecture, including the Putra Mosque, constructed from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the grand Perdana Putra with its green dome, housing the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge, inspired by Iranian architecture, features 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake.
• Putra Mosque - The Putra Mosque is the main mosque of Putrajaya Wilaya, Malaysia. Its construction began in 1997 and was completed two years later. Situated next to the Perdana Putra, which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister’s office, and the man-made Putrajaya Lake, the mosque features a large square with flagpoles displaying the flags of Malaysian states. The pink-domed mosque is built with rose-tinted granite and includes three main functional areas: the prayer hall, the Sahn (courtyard), and various learning facilities and function rooms. It can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers at a time.

Putra Square

Putra Square is a city square in Putrajaya used for festivals such as the Malaysian Independence Day parade. The 300-meter circular square is surrounded by Perdana Putra, Putra Mosque, Putra Bridge, and the Promenade Shopping Mall.

• Perdana Putra - Perdana Putra is a building in Putrajaya, Malaysia, housing the office complex of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Located on the main hill in Putrajaya, it has become synonymous with the executive branch of the Malaysian federal government.

• Putrajaya Lake - Putrajaya Lake is a 650-hectare man-made lake at the center of Putrajaya, designed to act as a natural cooling system for the city and for recreation, fishing, water sports, and water transport. The lake and its surroundings are Putrajaya’s most popular resource for informal recreation as a waterfront city. It has an average depth of 6.60 meters and a catchment area of 50.9 square kilometers. The well-known Putra Mosque, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, and Millennium Monument are located on its shores.

• Putra Bridge - Putra Bridge is the main bridge in Putrajaya, Malaysia, similar to Khaju Bridge in Esfahan, Iran. Spanning 435 meters, it connects the Government Precinct to the Mixed Development Precinct and links Putra Square with the Boulevard. It was constructed in 1997. The upper level of the bridge forms part of the Boulevard.

• Kelab Tasik Putrajaya - Cruise Tasik Putrajaya offers a comfortable sightseeing and dining lake cruise experience, providing one of the best ways to see the city’s sights by day or night. Located on Putrajaya Lake next to Putra Mosque and Dataran Putra, it is one of the city’s top tourist attractions.

• Putrajaya International Convention Centre - The Putrajaya International Convention Centre is the main convention center in Putrajaya. From PICC hill, you can have a good photo vantage point overlooking Putrajaya. About 5km away, you can see Perdana Putra at the other end of the long, straight boulevard running down the middle of Putrajaya.

• Seri Perdana - Seri Perdana is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, located in Putrajaya.

• Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin (Masjid Besi) - The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, or Iron Mosque, is the second principal mosque in Putrajaya, Malaysia, after Putra Mosque. Located in Putrajaya’s Precinct 3, opposite the Palace of Justice, its construction began in April 2004 and was completed in August 2009. It was officially opened by the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, on June 11, 2010. The mosque was built to serve approximately 24,000 residents, including government servants working around the city center.

• Millennium Monument - The Millennium Monument is a national monument in Putrajaya, Malaysia, similar to the Washington Monument in Washington DC, United States. It was the second national monument built in Putrajaya after the Putrajaya Landmark. Shaped like an obelisk, it features etchings denoting important periods and milestones in the nation’s history. The monument stands 68 meters tall in a 25-hectare park in Precinct 2. Constructed of solid metal structures, it serves as a beacon at night with strong light projected at 360 degrees and sweeping lights visible from various locations in Putrajaya.

• Moroccan Pavilion Putrajaya - Also known as Astaka Morocco among locals, this pavilion was built to signify the strong ties between Malaysia and Morocco. The walls are adorned with Islamic calligraphy and intricate carvings made by skilled artists in Morocco and transported here.

• Putrajaya - Putrajaya is not only an administrative city but also home to parks where you can enjoy nature, such as Taman Wawasan, Megalith Park (Taman Putra Perdana), Putrajaya Wetlands Park, Putrajaya Botanical Gardens, and Agriculture Heritage Park. It is certainly worth spending some time there.

This 78-meter structure, designed in the shape of a pyramid, is a proud symbol of Putrajaya. A time capsule in front of this monument contains official documents on the history and development of Putrajaya.

• Agriculture Heritage Park - Taman Warisan Pertanian (Agriculture Heritage Park) in Putrajaya’s Presint 16 is a great place to see a variety of tropical fruit trees, herbs and spices, rubber, palm oil, tea, coffee, and other commercial crops. This area opens out onto a food court with various eating choices, including a Live Kitchen (Penanggah), a branch of the famous saté stall Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri, and various kuey teow, noodle, roti, and other Malaysian-style fast food stalls. From here, take some more steps (a wheelchair ramp is available) to the ticket booth selling entrance tickets to the main part of the park. You can walk around the park yourself, hire a guide, or take a buggy ride if you prefer not to navigate the hilly pathways.

Seri Perdana Bridge

The Seri Perdana Bridge is a 370-meter-long bridge built across Putrajaya Lake in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative center. It is based on royal Islamic architectural design and features eight unique balconies/rest areas for visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding lake area. The bridge comprises seven central spans of 75m and two end spans of 55m. There are two separate carriageways over two twin cell box girders. The overall width between the extreme ends of the two box girders is 23m. The footpath is flanked by railings, and the road’s median is lined with decorative street lighting.

This futuristic asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a forward-inclined pylon resembles a sailing ship and is accented at night with changeable color lighting. Also known as Bridge No. 9, it crosses Putrajaya Lake, an artificial lake created to provide natural cooling, and connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island, where the main government buildings are located.

• Seri Gemilang Bridge - Seri Gemilang Bridge is a ceremonial bridge in Putrajaya, connecting Heritage Square with the Putrajaya Convention Centre. The bridge has a main span of 120 meters, with 60-meter spans at each end, totaling 240 meters in length. It features six traffic lanes, each 3.5 meters wide. The deck level above the water is 36.75 meters at the center of the bridge. The road from the bridge leads to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre at the end.
