Fantastic 8 Hr Private Tour! - Tad was our tour guide. What would have taken us many hours by getting on and off trains and not being able to see the sites, Tad took us to all the sites in a timely manner. He spoke English with my family/friend on this trip. Here are the sites we went to Nijo castle, Golden Pavillion, Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu temple, Imperial palace and Gion district. He took a lot of photos and videos and sent us a video culmination of the day. It was so impressive! Thank you Tad! A definite must do tour!!!

An excellent guide who we would recommend highly. - Our Guide Tazz was wonderful. The trip was varied including temples in the mountains and the city of Kyoto. Tazz was very knowledgeable and spoke good english. He also was flexible with the itinerary eg we noticed that there was a Geisha dance show on at the museum and he was happy for us to go in and watch it even though this had not been planned. It was a great day.

Kyoto 8 hour tour - Kaz was a great guide who gave us a well planned tour of Kyoto. Taught us about the Maiko and Geiko. Beautiful old town and even got to see a couple Maiko. Bamboo forest was beautiful and the Nijo Castle amazing!

Kyoto tour. - Our guide EMI was really knowledgeable and set an itinerary based on what we wanted to do. She helped us get the experience we wanted. EMI spoke superb English and was a joy to spend the day with.

Top tier private tour of Kyoto highlights! - We had a wonderful full day tour of the main sights in Kyoto! Hiro was a superb guide. He contacted me shortly after I made the booking and asked which top 4-5 sights we wanted to see and he customized a really wonderful day. He was knowledgeable and kind and very helpful answering our many questions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to get a great overview of Kyoto in a limited timeframe.

Our wonderful guide made it possible to see and experience so many beautiful places, - We had a wonderful day touring temples, shrines and gardens with Kaeko Tanigawa. Her English was excellent and she gave to much background of the history and symbolism in the gardens and shrines. We were able to see so many beautiful historic World Cultural Heritage sites with Kaeko’s guidance including Tenryu-ji Temple with the Bamboo Forest, the Golden Pavilion and the Silver Pavilion with their beautiful meticulously maintained gardens, and the Roanji Temple with the internationally famous rock garden. We had a delicious lunch at one of the most popular restaurants specializing in Udon. We walked down a crowded street of people buying souvenirs at the many shops, often seeing young couples reliving their heritage in rented kimonos. Kaeko made it easy and so much fun to see and learn so much of the culture of Japan. I highly recommend this tour!

Awesome guide in Kyoto. - I strongly recommend Kazz as your guide in Kyoto. He knowns the city and it’s history perfectly. Besides, he is a great photographer, so he takes you awesome pictures with his camera and then sends them to you, organized in folders, based on the visited places. He is kind and patient.

Kyoto with a brilliant guide. - Thank you so much to Keiko our amazing guide round Kyoto. The whole experience was wonderful - Keiko asked about any likes or dislikes we had so she could build a day for us that would be right for us. And she designed it perfectly - we visited the Kiyomizu temple which was awe inspiring and then Gion, downtown and the bamboo grove. Keiko was knowledgeable, fun, and such easy company. She also helped us locate a lost phone! Thank you so much Smith Family.

Amazing tour guide, GREAT way to see Kyoto! - I never would have seen as much of Kyoto as I did with our amazing guide Kazuko. She was friendly, informative and fun to hang out with for an entire day of sightseeing. It was so relaxing to have someone who knew exactly where we were going to help with navigating the city and made the entire day an absolute delight. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
