The highlight of our trip! - We are at the end of our 5 day stay in Kyoto and this was definitely the highlight of our trip! Sakura was a fabulous instructor- she was fun, kind, patient, encouraging, and informative. The class itself was very well organized and worth every penny. We learned a lot about the ramen making process and really enjoyed our delicious ramen at the end of the class. We will always have this memory as the best activity that our family experienced in Kyoto. Thank you, Sakura and Ramen Factory!

no ramen, no life indeed. loved this class! - it was an awesome experience. the instructors are passionate and detailed, and really friendly as well. the process of making the ramen was really fun and engaging, and the options to choose our soup broths was great too, because it’s like we’re given to freedom to choose how we want our ramen to taste. my family really enjoyed ourselves through the process! the ramen was really delicious as well, we all had a hearty lunch with our ramen afterwards! would highly recommend to my friends, and would go again!

Must go! So fun and yummy! - Loved it!!! My family of four with 2 kids had a great time! Cooking instructions were clear and they kept the class moving so no waiting around. We laughed and joked. And in the end had a delicious bowl of ramen that we made ourselves! A souvenir photo and T-shirt was an added bonus. A must do!!!

Making Ramen with friends - We are a family of four. 2 parents, 2 ‘kids’ 21 and 17. Vacationing with our friends. Family of 4, kids 14 and 10. At the end of a busy day of touring in Kyoto we were all a little exhausted and questioning taking a Ramen class. Questions answered. Great decision. They made the process fun and engaging for everyone. Not to mention the ramen came out excellent. Highly recommend for everyone.

Great family fun! And yummy!!! - Great time!!! We made the ramen noodles from start to finish! Then we flavored our own broth and lastly assembled and ate our yummy creations. They gave clear instructions, took pictures of us while cooking and kept it moving at a good pace. We had a great time as a family with a yummy meal for the win!

A great introduction to ramen making - The only real cooking we did on our vacation, we had a great time making our own ramen. We had several servings of ramen during our time in Japan, but this was the only spot where we we had chicken, so it was fun to try something different. The staff were very friendly and presented us with a completion certificate/photo. We were each able to choose a free souvenir to take home. We knew from the start that we wanted to do a cooking class in Japan, and this turned out to be the right one for us. To be honest (and not to detract at all from this experience and the wonderful staff), others who are more experienced cooks or want more in-depth courses might find this kind of basic. Otherwise, definitely join this class.
