Awesome trip around Kyoto - Quin is an awesome guide. He fit us with the right bikes, and led us through many many back roads to see the best part of Kyoto. He is very knowledgeable and also very accommodating to all our needs. Kids learned so much about Kyoto’s history and sampled great street food and desserts. He also know the best places to take family pictures! We had a great time and would highly recommend to any families!

Fantastic way to experience the city, even for people who don't usually cycle much - I am 61 years old and hadn't been on a bike for 10 years so when my friends organised a half a day cycling in a big city, I did find it a bit daunting. However, on the day, this was one of the best experiences of my trip to Japan. The route was mainly on quiet backstreets and Kyoto is a very flat city, so the cycling was not difficult. Julian, our guide was very friendly and informative about the places we visited. Being on a bike means that you can get see so much more of the city in a few hours than you could by any other means. Definitely recommended and I would do another one of Cycle Kyoto's tours if I am ever lucky enough to be back in Kyoto.

Best Cycle Trip - Definitely one of our Japan trip highlights! Cycle Kyoto were kind enough to get us kids friendly bikes, one with child-seat and one for a 7 year old. Mr. Quin, our tour guide, was extremely patient and kind with our kids, and the kids loved him so much! Definitely recommend Cycle Kyoto for families who want to explore Kyoto on bikes!

Perfect mix of activity, exploration, and education! - Julian was an amazing and engaging tour guide. We went with a group of 6 and he remembered all of our names and professions and engaged with us as a group and as individuals throughout the tour. The tour was a perfect mix of cycling and stops to learn about the history and culture of Kyoto. Thanks again for the amazing experience!

Fun times cycling around Kyoto - Juan was an excellent tour guide and we had a lot of fun while learning about Kyoto and the temples we visited. He even made a special extra stop to show our son the original Nintendo card company when he found out he liked Nintendo. Really could have hung out with Juan all day! He’s so fun and personable. Highly recommend this adventure.

Over all good experience if you like a slow pace - Overall good experience, our guide was into telling lots of stories which made the pace of the tour very slow. The places we did visit were good and the history behind interesting.
