Highlights
  • La Ceja - 1) After being picked up from your place in comfortable and private transportation, we’ll head to the enchanting east side of Medellín towards a little town called La Ceja (Eyebrow). We’ll explore the authentic culture of Antioquia on this town, a town that has retained its traditional way of life, untouched by the influences of modern urbanization. This town, mostly colonized by Europeans, is a melting pot of cultures and traditions. Observe the local community as they go about their daily lives, speaking with one another in the streets, and discover the unique customs and practices that have been passed down through generations. Join us as we delve into the rich cultural heritage of Antioquia and gain an insight into the real Colombia.
  • Cascada Salto Del Buey - 2) After exploring La Ceja Town, our next stop is our main highlight! This is where we´re going to have our most incredible experience full of adrenaline, taking the highest and longest zipline of all Colombia, 1000 feet high and 2200 feet long, where you can see up to 5 waterfalls one after the other until we get to the other side of the mountain and then we´ll have a high-level Trek to the most stunning waterfall of all, the jump of the Ox, we´ll go right to its base where we can feel all of its power and after climbing a Ferrata Trail (Optional) beside the waterfall, something out of this world!
  • Abejorral - *This activity is for people who weight less than 100 Kg (weight limit for the zipline) and good fitness condition required, since we have to trek down the mountain to the waterfall through natural paths for approximately 35-40 minutes, and back up!

But is definitely worth the experience!

Fall in love with the view - We were picked up right in time in a comfortable car by Laura. From the get go we were in interesting conversation with her. And the two hour ride passed by like nothing as she is only 24 but know so much aboit her country in all areas as environment, social issues, politics, economical, daily life. I could ask her anything and she was so honest and educational about Medellìn and Colombia. As she is a biologist she knows her nature. The town to get to the ecopark was a short stop but very good filling local snacks. And a bit of the feel of an local not touristy town. After that you go into the nature for the next hour. The eco park has such a beatiful view. I was only smiling. And than on the hike to the waterfall you see avocado trees, brocolli plants. And Laura showed us what we could pick of the tree and eat. The waterfall itself is such a exhilirating experience. I haven't really seen waterfalls so I was very much impressed. And you become soaking wet by just standing and watching the waterfall which makes you feel wonderfully alive. The hike is ok not to long. After the café has an amazing view. Just drinking your coffee and sitting there. We did the zipline which is a go and a come back ovet an amazing view. And experience of 20 min. So the day is very balanced their are the two activities but also time to just chill and see the view. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you Laura and thanks to beautiful Colombia.

A different side to Medellín - Laura was an excellent guide, helpful and kind with great English! Views of this tour were superb, recommended to do the short drive (bumpy) and longer walk as it’s worth it as long as your fit! The extra $25 waterfall trail was also worth it, would recommend this trip. Vanessa was also very helpful in organising the trip at such short notice and also offering great eatery’s in the city!

Fun and exhilarating! - We enjoyed our trip to salto del buey. The ziplining is fun, exhilarating and beautiful! Love the landscape of the place. We also hiked down to waterfall which is also beautiful. Our guide diego is very nice and drove us safely back and forth. I also appreciate the insta 360 video that is included on the trip, got a good footage of the ziplining. My only suggestion, i hope the lunch is already included to the trip with the cost of the trip i think it is fair. Overall, it was a great experience!
