Beautiful cliffs and ocean - I had a fabulous time. It was a cold/mild day because it was April but the tour guide gave everyone a wet suit. He was very informative on how to properly hold your paddle and how to kayak properly. So i got the hang of it quickly. The views were spectacular and we stopped along the way and learnt about the history of the area. I saw some schools of fish when I snorkelled which was really pleasant. All in all was a great day. I don’t drive but I managed to get the m202 bus into La faquilla which runs every two hours.

Beautiful water, underwhelming scenery - The scenery is nice but not spectacular with homes, businesses, and military activity noticeable during the kayaking. The waters are beautiful, crystal clear blue, the snorkeling was not very special. Our guide Javi was very nice. The equipment was in good condition. BUT there was no bathroom nearby to use before the three hour trip.

Not as expected. - Quite disappointed with this trip. Seas were calm but our paddle didn’t bare much resemblance to the photos here. We thought we’d paddle through grottos and see scenic beaches. We were told there’s be 3 stops but instead did 2 1/2. We didn’t get close to the “mermaid”. I understand this is a protected area with a yellow buoy marking the area you can’t enter, however, we were a long way from the yellow buoy and didn’t get to see much of anything. It felt a bit like the guides were phoning it in. Our English speaking guide was friendly enough, but that’s about all that can be said. The snorkel spot was just around the corner from where we departed. There wasn’t much to see there and yet we seemed to spend a lot of time there just standing on the beach. I think everyone was ready to go. But perhaps they had to fill the 3 hours. Wouldn’t recommend.
