Can’t miss and must do! - Highlight of La Fortuna! This is a must do for your visit, we are a couple and loved the entire day tour. Lots of nature, wild animals, one spectacular waterfall (can’t miss)! Our tour guide Marcos and Eric were special, attentive, educated and lots of fun! Shoutout to them! Lastly our driver cha cha made sure we were taken care out from the beginning and gave us great ideas for our visit in town.

Awesome! Do it! - Great experience! Guides are great (thank you Bryan). We did so many things in this full day trip without having to run. They gave us time to enjoy, to take pictures, to swim, to walk, to as questions. Pura Vida !

Katalina is best tour guide - What a great experience! Katalina our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She helped us learn the history, the biology, and, with the help of guide Max, she showed me a sloth and baby only 10 feet away hanging in a tree. Fantastic experience in all respects!

A must do full day in La Fortuna - Chris and Katalina were fantastic, and looked after us very well for the whole day, they are so knowledgeable and helpful and really make the experience amazing. This was such a great day, saw lots of wildlife, learned a lot about their habitat, swam under the waterfall, hiked up to a volcano view, it’s not too difficult, walked over a suspension bridge and finished in a great hot springs venue with cocktails! Highly recommend and our guides were just the best!

Fantastic Day! - This was a long day but absolutely worth the effort. Please be aware that there are many steps and hours of walking involved. Wear good hiking shoes. The waterfalls and volcano were fantastic.

Arenal Volcano Full Day Tour - An excellent all-round trip with the wonderful guidance of Errol and Max and the sense of humour of Chacha the driver. I highly recommend this full-day trip for a complete pack including hiking in the Arenal National Park near the volcano, a dip in the river with a view of the Fortuna Waterfall, lunch and a walk in a butterfly farm and ending the day in a thermal spa. Well worth it for the experience and price-wise.

Disappointing. - The one star is for the tour guide. There were two. The first one was very nice. The second was the biggest jerk I ever met. He questioned everything why I was slow on the hike why I didn’t go into the water fall. He took me on a hike to see the other side and expected me to go up a trail that was super slick and no lines to grab on to for support. When I asked if I could go another route he muttered a curse word I recognized in Spanish to me. When I asked about the water fall and where he was from his answers were very curt. He took off without me at one point and I had to try to figure out where to go. Mind you I am from a city that is very flat and we do not have hills let alone rocky ones you have to navigate. If I had been with the other guide who was with the Spanish speaking group it would have been different as he was very kind and understanding. The highlight was the thermal pools. I was also disappointed the group was so large as it said 12 max and it was double the size. I have taken countless trips with Viator and everyone of them was a success particularly due to the wonderful guides and the efforts to make each adventure memorable.
