Engage in an unforgettable journey through the largest gorge of the Balsa River. Feel a rush of adrenaline, a sense of peace, and a profound joy as you witness the miraculous transformation of this heavenly rift and its brave navigators.
Your adventure will be guided by seasoned river experts and safety kayakers. You’ll experience the thrill of rapid currents while also getting opportunities to appreciate the stunning natural surroundings.
There’ll be a stop to taste our freshly picked, local tropical fruits and again for a sumptuous, traditional Costa Rican Organic lunch. Additionally, you’ll learn about the cultivation, harvest, and production processes of chocolate, medicinal plants, fruits, and sugar cane.
Lastly, you’ll explore the world of sugar cane in Costa Rica. Your guide will demonstrate how to manually extract sugar cane in a traditional method. You’ll also get to taste a splash of unsullied sugar cane juice. A sweet culmination of an exceptional escapade!

Unforgettable Whitewater Adventure - I had an amazing time whitewater rafting today. Our guide, Jean Carlos, was not only an expert but also incredibly funny. He made the trip exceptionally enjoyable with his antics—jumping on the raft, having us spin 360 degrees, and even leaping into other rafts. This is definitely a trip worth taking if you ever visit the area. My family and I made lasting memories that we will be talking about for years to come. Thank you, Jean Carlos!

Definitely Worth Your Time! - Jean Carlos was an AMAZING guide! He is super skillful, energetic, fun, and knows how to make the time a true experience! The river starts out strong and then gradually calms down. Jean Carlos did a great job pointing out wildlife (sloths, iguanas, birds) and plants and trees. We were able to enjoy a nice swim/float down the river for a minute as well. A quick stop in the middle gave us time to enjoy some fresh pineapple and watermelon. A great time, definitely an excursion to include on your trip to Costa Rica!

Don’t think, Just Book it! - 100% recommend this. Warner and Kevin were amazing. We weren’t sure this would be exciting enough for our 2 teenager but wow!!! Very adventurous even for the experienced. Loved this and would do it again.

So much fun! - Our guide Warner was great! He was enthusiastic and made sure we had fun but stayed safe. He took the time to point out sloths, birds and plants. We had sooo much fun on this trip. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!

Extremely fun! - Had such a great time white water rafting! All the instructors are so much fun and also got some great information about the local wildlife!
We were also first taken to where we could see a local wild sloth, and though we love it when wild sloths are shown to us we felt extremely uncomfortable when the instructor antagonised the sloth for a reaction just for peoples photos but didn’t do this once but three times and also allowed some tourists to pick up sticks and poke at the sloth themselves which just made us annoyed especially when it’s a protected species!
Still the white water rafting was fun which is why we have provided a 5* review!
