BEST Tour in Costa Rica - This was the best tour yet in Costa Rica. Guide was excellent with information, demonstrations and English. Wonderful gardens and gardener who is breeding butterflies. Excellent variety of coffee grinding and tastings. Chocolate bar making was terrific. There was a very good pace to this tour - not rushed at all. Don’t hesitate. You’ll love it.

The best tour to learn about bees - The experience was very nice, the guide and his collaborators are very friendly. The tour is entertaining since they give us information with activities such as trying the different honeys, the tour of the garden and its different seasons, my favorite part was seeing the different bees and their different homes

The beauty of tiny details - I had the opportunity to visit that beautiful place and the experience was even better than I imagined! The attention was incredible, the guides were just what I needed, they even assisted me without having made a formal reservation, giving me a unique and exciting opportunity. You can see many animals and insects each one cuter than the last. The information they gave me about these species was the best, I was amazed with the entire process and administration they maintain. Without a doubt, an excellent place to take advantage of the holidays and all the nature that La Fortuna offers 🏞️🐝🦋☕🐸

Unique experience in La Fortuna - My family and I enjoyed the chocolate, coffee and honey tour. The best experience we have had on this trip through La Fortuna. We learned a lot about bees and the pollinator conservation project. 100% recommended.

Wow - Dylan was absolutely awesome. Our tour only had 5 people and it was like walking through a garden with another family member. Very easy conversational, answered questions on the fly and it lead to new topics and interaction. Lots of honey varieties to try, beautiful property, great hands on with the coffee and cocao at the end. You should all want to do this tour

Interactive and educational tour about honey, cacao, & coffee - We had the most spectacular, memorable time at Arenal Bee Garden!! We chose this tour because it uniquely also educated us about honey, in addition to chocolate and coffee-something that stood out compared to other tours in the area. Johnny, our tour guide, spoke excellent English, took the effort to learn each of our names, and engaged with us and asked us questions to facilitate learning (rather than feel like we were being lectured). He also brought his energetic personality and sense of humor along for the entire 2+ hour tour. This tour truly captivates all of your senses as you get to see the sanctuary of various bee hives, taste & smell different honeys, coffees, and cacao/chocolate, touch a variety of plants, herbs, and trees, etc. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting La Fortuna and looking for an educational, as well as highly interactive experience :) 10/10!

The tour started with a warm welcome from our knowledgeable guide, Jonny, who is passionate about bee conservation. He led us through the lush gardens, explaining the critical role bees play in our ecosystem and how they contribute to the health of the environment. The first part of the tour focused on honey. We learned about the different types of bees and their roles within the hive. The highlight was definitely tasting various kinds of honey produced right there – each with its unique flavor profile influenced by the surrounding flora. The raw honey was unlike anything available in stores, with a richness and depth that was truly eye-opening. Next, we explored the world of chocolate, starting from the cacao tree all the way to the final delicious product. We got hands-on experience with the chocolate-making process, from fermenting and roasting the beans to grinding them into a paste. The air filled with the rich aroma of chocolate was amazing! Tasting freshly made chocolate, crafted with traditional methods, was a sensory experience I won't soon forget. Finally, the coffee segment of the tour was exceptionally educational. A tasty afternoon in a beautiful garden! - Dillon was an awesome guide! He was very informative, kept it light, and was patient with our excessive questions. We primarily booked for the chocolate and coffee, but the bees and honey tasting stole the show! It is such a beautiful property tucked away right off the main road. Highly recommend!

Fun experience with honey, chocolate, and coffee - What a delightful way to spend a few hours after arriving in Costa Rica that day. We learned alot about bees, honey, cacao, and coffee. A beautiful setting to experience grinding beans, and making your own chocolate bars. All while learning the ancient style of chocolate and coffee. Highly recommended!
