- Río Celeste - We will begin the trip from La Fortuna to reach the Tenorio Volcano - Río Celeste National Park. Once in the national park we will begin the 6 kilometer walk, approximately 3 hours. We will immerse ourselves in a magical and mysterious path; where along the way we will find 5 outstanding places. First; the Río Celeste Waterfall, 30 meters high, surrounded by incredible beauty and the light blue color of its waters with more than 200 steps to access it. Then, we will arrive at a viewpoint, where, if the weather permits, we will see the magnificent Tenorio Volcano of more than 1960 meters of altitude. In addition, we will reach the famous Blue Lagoon; Also the “bubbly” gas outlet. We will pass through 2 hammock bridges, to reach the rivers of crystal clear water, these meet and in front of you the river takes on a light blue color; this, while you learn about all the nature and the stories of the place. At the end of the walk they will have a traditional lunch and if the weather permits they will be able to bathe in the Rio Celeste that passes inside a private property (since it is not possible inside the park). Once ready we will return to Fortuna to drop you off at your hotels.

During the trip the guide will show you animals such as birds, sloths, iguanas, alligators. so the adventure begins from the moment you register with us. The guide will tell you the history of this paradise, you will learn how the blue color of its waters is formed, you will arrive at a lake with bubbles that emanates the aroma of sulfur and you will also be able to discover the rich fauna and flora of this place. This tour is very special because apart from taking the walk through the forest where you will fill your lungs with clean and pure oxygen, we will take you to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch and you will be able to bathe in the waters of the Rio Celeste, we will access this place through a private property. Swimming is prohibited in the park. Throughout the excursion you will have the time to take your own photographs and let yourself be carried away by this wonderful treasure that we want to share with you.
