Additional Information

Our 1.5km Trail offers one of the best opportunities to observe sloths in their natural habitat.

During this journey, we’ll be witnessing various animals in their natural state, and that’s why our guide will be responsible for showing us the best way to enjoy them without causing stress or disruption to their daily lives.

Both two- and three-toed sloths are now common on our property, which we’ve reforested and protected for many years. This is the fruit we want to share with you—a haven for sloths in the heart of Fortuna de San Carlos.

Our guide will share impressive details about these animals, concluding the tour with a small tasting of artisanal sugarcane juice and a traditional tortilla-making class with Doña Elith. Not to mention, a visit to her medicinal plant garden.

Undoubtedly, it’s a complete experience of nature and culture in one place.

Fantastic Tour Guide and Tour - Sergio was an amazing guide! He taught us so many interesting things about sloths and the biodiversity of Costa Rica. Not to mention that when a coworker mentioned seeing a baby sloth, he instantly took us over to watch her climbing down her tree and vines! It was amazing, just make sure you wear your bug spray!

So nice 🦥 - We were really excited 🦥 we saw four sloths and one even came down from the tree. We learned a lot about these cute animals and the guide was very helpful. The cooking class is a bit exaggerated - we formed a tortilla and put it on the pan 🙃 but all in all, recommended 🦥🦥

Amazing super satisfied - Amazing and located I'm a convenient location out guide I believe Sergio was supper informative and knowledgeable we were able to see sloths on the tour as well as other native wildlife . Their cooking class was an added bonus I didn't even know was included . I honestly think they should charge more for this experience. You can pay online, in usd or colones. If paying usd just give $35 instead of $32 the extra "tip" you won't regret Staff were very communicative via what's app they are located near a lot of lodging so it very walk able in March 2024 the was construction being done close by so its not very ADA accessible but I'm sure once construction is done it will be accessible to more ppl
