Outstanding experience - We had an amazing time thank you to Shaggy and the leader of the great crew Mario! The service, friendliness, food, drinks, and guidance were outstanding. The current was strong for me, I’m not a strong swimmer and Shaggy our snorkel leader attached me to him and took me through the entire experience. I never would have seen, experienced going through the reefs without his help. Mario and the crew were simply exceptional! Thank you! Crews like this are the reason I only use Cabo Ventures

Great History, Views and Hospitality - It was a great day for the family and I. Raz is a great guide and informative. My grandfather was born in La Paz so it was great to hear some history about the town. Paz gave great information about playa balandra and it's roll in the ecosystem. I like that kind of stuff. The food was more than plenty. Breakfast was good and light. Nother to make you feel like its just sitting in your gut. So that makes it feel better to go out snorkeling afterwards. Lunch was great also. Quite a big portion in my opinon. Each plate serves two peopl. But honestly. That one plate was perfect for the 3 of us. But if you have quite an appetite, then its all good. Drinks are bottomless and they had basically everything you needed. No blended drinks or cocktails but it was fine. We had ample time for snorkeling in two spots. I like the 2nd spot better. The water was more calm and there was more cool things to discover. Wish we could have spent more time in that location. Overall we had a great experience. The drive was long but the driver, Paco, makes a stop each way for bathroom and a quick snack shopping break. Paz, Jo and the rest of the boat crew were genuinely helpful, accommodating and friendly. The made sure we were all safe and took really good care of us. 10 out of 10, I'd do this again.

Balandra Bus Ride is 4 hours long. Trip was OK. - This was a 'pretty good' trip but nothing spectacular (although we did get to see the Blue Footed Boobies that came all the way down from the Galapagos. Important things to note (and perhaps the most important thing) is that it's a 2 hour drive there (and back). So, you're in a bus for at least 4 hours of your day. The sky was overcast, so the tiny jellyfish were out. This is a rarity but I can impact your snorkeling experience. The second stop was cool; did get to snorkel a bit, but only for 1 hour. Then, you guessed it, two hours on a bus back. The food was meh. It's basically a low cal diet breakfast and lunch were machacado tacos that were also meh. Are there beautiful things to see? Yes! Was it worth the 4 hour bus ride? For us... no! Spoke to another couple, and they felt the same way. The upside is that the crew was amazing from start to finish.
