Awesome Hike! - We had one last day in the La Paz area and decided that hiking Charquini looked like an amazing opportunity. I reached out to Feel Bolivia to set up a private tour for the 5 of us, ending in airport drop off for our flight back, and was easily able to set up everything with Carmen. Our guide for the day was Juan and he was absolutely amazing. Great at taking pictures and extremely helpful for our group as not everyone was able to hike at the same pace. Feel Bolivia provided us with post hike snacks and drinks and made sure we had a perfect day!

Nice day! - A really fun day tour! Easy hike (unless you still have to get used to the altitude), beautiful views and a beautiful lake. Many photos were taken of us by the guide with a professional camera.

Recommend - Our tour guide (Pati) was welcoming, informative, and very kind. She spoke English fluently. Anyone can do this hike--We hiked up the mountain at a snails pace and took lots of breaks. Although the tour does not provide lunch, they provide a LARGE snack (tea, candy, empanada, banana).

Beautiful lake hike with llamas - Our tour guide, Pati, was amazing - very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. She was a great motivator for getting up to Laguna Esmeralda! The hike was not too challenging (around 3.5km) but I would recommend acclimatising to the altitude for at least 3-4 days before trying this trek. The views at the top were beautiful and we appreciated the snacks our guide provided (cheese empanada, coffee, banana, chocolate). Unfortunately, a lot of the glacier is disappearing due to climate change so definitely go visit whilst you can! We loved seeing all of the llamas too

Beautiful lagoon - Our guide Cassandra was very nice and helpful. The hike to the lake was not long but not easy due to the altitude. But the view is definitely worth it. They provided us with little snacks, and we were back to the city by 4 pm.

Great intro hike - Our guide (Pati) and the setting were excellent! I appreciated our driver as well. It’s a relatively mild hike—great after a day or two acclimatizing in La Paz. Only detractions we’re that the van had no seatbelts and that you’ve got to be patient with traffic getting in and out of La Paz.

Good day out - Good day out from La Paz; a moderately difficult trek to the laguna with a fun, English speaking guide. Some very picturesque stops along the way.

Enjoyable tour, but a few problems that tour group needs to pay attention to - Enjoyable tour with amazing views. We stopped at some very interesting locations including a grave yard that had an amazing mountain backdrop. However there were some real challenges with the tour that I think could have been handled better: 1) They provided us with some small snacks like bananas, biscuits and some coca tea, but there was no lunch. I wish they had provided empanadas or other more substantial snacks. 2) The vehicle the tour group provided was not up to the task. There has been a lot of rain lately in the mountain so many roads had been washed away. We had to take back roads and at one stage we had to get out and walk so the vehicle could make it up a hill. 3) The hike to the lake was absolutely brutal for me. We climbed from 15,000 feet to 16,500 feet and I found it extremely hard going. I'm very comfortable hiking, but if you're not fully acclimatized it's very difficult. I'm glad we didn't give up, but one of my family had altitude sickness and vomited everywhere when we got home.
