Excellent private tour of La Rochelle - Romain was a superb guide for this wonderful custom tour! Romain contacted me on WhatsApp in advance, sharing logistical information and answering my questions on where we would meet. My husband and I were very happy with our tour. Romain summarized the historical significance of La Rochelle at the start. As we walked around the town, it was clear that he had done a lot of his own research to make the tour interesting and historically accurate. Romain walked us to some hidden gems that we would have never found on our own, and showed us photos on his phone of the inside of the City Hall. I would recommend this tour, and particularly Romain.

Romain was a fantastic... - Romain was a fantastic guide and was able to give us a wonderful tour of the historical sights in town. From medieval to WWII history in La Rochelle, he had us covered. It was great to have a private tour where you could feel free to ask as many questions as you wanted.

Very insightful for first-timers in La Rochelle - We really enjoyed the 3 hour walking tour with Romain around La Rochelle, including areas that we would not have discovered on our own. Romain showed us a good mix of landmarks and gave us enough history to make the walk interesting but not overwhelming. We also appreciate his patience in answering our many questions about everyday life and recommendations on eateries and markets - we had a fabulous lunch at one such place right after our tour. We would highly recommend Romain to others visiting La Rochelle 😊

Great tour showcasing La Rochelle - Our guide was a local man called Gabriel, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he was showing us. He checked each time if we wanted more information or more time at the many interesting places we visited. Their is much more to see and learn about than we thought and it made planning the rest of visit more interesting as we went back to some of the places Gabriel recommended.

Great tour bringing La Rochelle to life for us. - Our guide Gabriel was excellent he brought the history and development of La Rochelle to life for us. It was a very wet and windy day but that did not dampen Gabriel’s enthusiasm and cheerfulness in sharing with us his historical and local knowledge. This tour helped us also to plan out what we would visit for the rest of our stay . Highly recommend.

Excellent Tour Guide - We highly recommend this tour. Valerie, our guide, was extremely hospitable, full of knowledge and an outstanding host. We really enjoyed La Rochelle, this was due to the kind and informative welcome we received from Valerie. We fully plan to return when we can.

Walking tour of La Rochelle - Miriam was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our interests. Wish that we could accompany her all over Europe as she is well traveled. Her easygoing personality and pride of her home town provided us with a great day
