Great day in Pattaya - Driver was very attentive to our desires. He suggested additional items for us to consider. He even stopped along the way to show us fruit trees we had been asking about. Really could not have been better.

Pattaya with private car - Pattaya is a terrible place: ugly, loud, vulgar, congested and filled with tourist traps. But experiencing it with our private driver - Nine, who was nice, efficient, and an excellent driver - at least created some comfort and the luxury of leaving when we wanted and change itineray underway. The only thing in the whole of Pattaya that not feel totally as a tourist trap was the Jungle Elephant Sanctuary, which was expensive but interesting and worthwhile with diginified interaction with the animals. Diner at the Hilton rooftop bar/restaurant was also very nice; it's a stylish place in the niddle of the hellhole that is the seedy 'entertainment center' of the city.

No guide, so have a good idea of what you want to see. - This Is a tour of just Pattaya not Banbkok which is 2 + hours away. Have an idea of what you want to see and do. Our driver spoke little English but he was young and had a translation app on his phone so we were able to communicate. It was a good day.
